Two albums to date by this group, two Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album, one Grammy for Best Engineered. The two vastly different styles of White and Benson combine to be far greater than the sum of their two parts. Saw them live at Austin City Limits Festival, blew the place apart. After (hopefully) a pause to do other things, they have scheduled some 2011 dates. They have the potential for lasting greatness, if they can hang together. To some of the naysayers who say these guys are just imitating others, tell that to Jack White's face. |
