'Fatty Gets A Stylist' is the band Kate formed with her partner Keir Nuttall to make this album. I guess they took the name in order to separate this album from Kate's usual folky style.

Agreed...
An initially catchy tune with a distinct bubble-gum aftertaste...

I thought it was Tegan and Sara.

Sounds A LOT like Tegan and Sara.  Bill needs to play some of that!

Must have changed her mind about the band name.  Good decision, most likely :-)

Don't you critics have work to do for five minutes until the next tune comes on? ;)

ugh.  the wikipedia link pisses me off.  i will never donate to that site.  what makes any band or musician noteworthy?  just how noteworthy do you have to be to take up 25kb of space on their servers?

sorry.  i suppose this isn't the place for me to vent my annoyance with wikipedia's editing policies.
