That's what I was thinking about Ralph Vaughan Williams.... reminded me of the Lark Ascending.  Beautiful.

This reminds me of my childhood in front of the TV set. The story of Fiskerne is written by Hans Kirk and tells the story about the tough life among fishermen and their families on the west coast of Jutland, Denmark in the beginning of the 20th century.

Oddly reminiscent of the Chinese music that one heard on Cantonese music stations in the period after China started opening to the West. (mid 70's)

Beautiful.
Followed by a tune with a theme/signature not unlike it. What guy who cares about music is thoughtful enough to give the music what it needs to have maximum effect? Why, that would be Bill...
Of course, this song by ATE is by/from a jilted heartbroken sap, so it's hardly a happy song...

I recognised this song as the theme song from the Danish seventies TV series "Fiskerne" (the Fishermen)... how it ended up on RP, I have no idea, but it's a clear proof of the eclectic RP nature...

Scandinavian music pops up regularly on RP. Maybe Bill & Becky have a thing for Vikings {#War}

This piece goes straight to the heart and the gut, and feels almost unbearably poignant.8 from the moved Nottingham jury.
