Swinging in the backyard
Pull up in your fast car
Whistling my name
Open up a beer
And you say, Get over here
And play a video game
I'm in his favourite sun dress
Watching me get undressed
Take that body downtown
I say you the bestest
Lean in for a big kiss
Put his favourite perfume on
Go play a video game
It's you, it's you, it's all for you
Everything I do
I tell you all the time
Heaven is a place on earth with you
Tell me all the things you want to do
I heard that you like the bad girls
Honey, is that true?
It's better than I ever even knew
They say that the world was built for two
Only worth living if somebody is loving you
Baby, now you do
Singing in the old bars
Swinging with the old stars
Living for the fame
Kissing in the blue dark
Playing pool and wild darts
Video games
He holds me in his big arms
Drunk and I am seeing stars
This is all I think of
Watching all our friends fall
In and out of Old Paul's
This is my idea of fun
Playing video games
It's you, it's you, it's all for you
Everything I do
I tell you all the time
Heaven is a place on earth with you
Tell me all the things you want to do
I heard that you like the bad girls
Honey, is that true?
It's better than I ever even knew
They say that the world was built for two
Only worth living if somebody is loving you
Baby, now you do
Now you do, now you do, now you do
Now you do, now you do, now you do
It's you, it's you, it's all for you
Everything I do
I tell you all the time
Heaven is a place on earth with you
Tell me all the things you want to do

Honey, is that true?
It's better than I ever even knew

Now you do, now you do, now you do
Now you do
Now you do, now you do, now you do
| calypsus_1 (East of Eden) | Posted: Jul 25, 2012 - 16:43 I liked to come here and say "wonders" of all the songs that play here. But it is impossible. This is the most tedious and boring music I've heard in recent times. The alleged "popularity" in relation with this, can only be explained by the massification of music and propaganda machine that drives and promotes the music business, and that "manufactures" artists like sardine cans. This also explains many of the "Nominated" and "Won" Awards. The problem here is that not all young girls who dream of being "singers" can really be. This young girl, would not pass the competition of "idols". And, i don't say more. |

Job #1 for any publicist of any pop star out there is to manage wikipedia. Her dad is an internet mogul and she has the best talent money can buy. No thanks. 4 to a 2 as I'm bucking the trend of this actually improving in the ratings |
| toterola (Further) | Posted: May 27, 2012 - 10:33 Okay, The Black Keys I can sort of go along with. They're over-exposed on commercial radio, but they're at least talented artists. But this insipid, marginally-talented twit? On RP? Have I gone to sleep and awakened in "Upside Down World"? No more please. I only get to listen to RP for a couple of hours a week on Sunday, and I don't want to hear Axl Rose's girlfriend coming out of my speakers. |

| cosmiclint (Vancouver BC) | Posted: May 06, 2012 - 09:37 Lana's sound is starting to connect with me. I hope some day she will be able to be just a singer, rather than a lightening rod. (Maybe Aimee Mann can save her from the ranks of the freaks who suspect they could never love anyone ...) |

I know next to nothing of these things (that's her on the album cover, right? and someone said she did poorly on SNL, yeah?) and I found the song OK the first several times I heard it. Now with a few too many listenings, I find the lyrics a bit vapid and that plucked string triplet to be obnoxious (plink plink plink) in it's overuse (plink plink plink), but otherwise the song is still OK. A solid 5 by my reckoning. |

| apd (Toronto, On) | Posted: Feb 20, 2012 - 15:15 wel, that's it: I heard it first last August, long before I saw a photo of her, saw the (terrible) video, her appearance on Later, SNL etc etc. And I love it. Hey, if we can't separate the artist from the art, and only listened to nice people, our iPods would be rather empty. rasta_tiger wrote: Unfortunately, Lana has become a Rorschach test.
