I like some of Queen's stuff, but this is just bombastic schmaltz.

Sure is, reminds me of Gregor Robertson in a red Chinese jacket.

Greatest gospel song ever to feature an all-white casting. Beautiful singing, and the usual superb guitar doodles from Brian May. We need more songs sung by Freddie Mercury. It's an automatic mood-lifter.

Dear Freddie, you made some great memories - pompous, over-the-top, frivilous, amazing memories. Always sung with gusto and despite the nay-sayers. Thanks!

Great to hear one of the oldies. But as usual, the rest of the album is equally good, if not better. Millionaires' Waltz, Drowser, Teo Torriate (Let Us Cling Together), Who Needs You and of course, the highly camp Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy. Tie Your Mother Down used to be the preferred concert-opener for many years. You can see why. It's rock'n'roll at its best.

Thanks Bill.

One of my sons woke up in the recovery room after surgery and started singing the chorus of this. He had all the staff tickled.

Freddy at his best.  If Queen is only remembered for one song, (impossible) it should be this one.
