A very good mate of mine has worked for Roger Taylor for many years. He has plenty of tales to tell but I can't pass them on. Sorry.

However, what I can say is that he has enabled a lot of new talent over the years by supporting local musical talent letting them use his recording studio and giving advice and help. Which is nice.

While I personally dislike this song for many reasons...(overplayed on every station except this one, reminds me of an English Soccer match, or an English pub song) I will say Bill, its OK to throw this in every now and then.....but I don't want to hear it.

Yeah, this song is great, all the lame complainers below have been listening to their iPods too long... it needs to be played loud over large cabinet sized speakers

Jeez - lighten up guys. If you'd ever heard this live in a stadium with everyone joining in you might have a different opinion. Just enjoy it for what it is - a fantastic piece of rock theatre.

Sweet!  Love this song, if for nothing other than nostalgia.  Now I have teenagers, and they crank it up whenever it comes on the radio.  Some rock anthems are timeless!

But Bill, you have to let it go into We Are The Champions next!  Otherwise, it's like playing half a song.

I've always hated this song, a most overplayed piece of crap. I do like most of Queens other efforts however, just not this one.
