Absolutely not. The song is based on that rhythm. Without it, it wouldn't be this good and unique.

If that is your idea of a great rhythm then all I can say is you are easily pleased!

Great song, and I love his voice, but the rhythm section is annoying.

"if you don't know the words, sing them anyway!"    Yeah, very fun show.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse have played the past three nights in a small venue in Fresno (seats 2,000) and will play the next two in Bakersfield. I have friends who were fortunate to go to last night's Fresno show, and they all said it was fabulous.

I don't know why this is the perfect song. Maybe it's simplicity.

The only flaw is the robotic drum loop backing which is so repetitive and boring. It may be a sample of an actual drummer but no self-respecting human drummer would play that the whole way through a song.

Love the talkup on this, Bill.  Might have been a mistake but it was smooth.

Very interesting rhythm. At first I didn't like it, but now I find it unique.

The beginning has some nice bar/lounge feeling, the rest I can't remember. {#Cheesygrin}

Dross. Living in the UK and trying to avoid these is a full time job. Horrible.

I dig this bit of Elbow (could enjoy it in a dark cheap lower east side joint, one of those 3 steps below street level where you almost bump into the bar on your way in and the bright eyed lady bartender takes care of you immediately, yeah gonna be a good night : )
