Absolutely! I've been saying this song sounds SO much of the Beatles.        jacopo_7 wrote:

catchy tune, reminds me of Elliot Smith's Figure 8 album

At last year's Grammys, he was hanging out and party hopping with Paul McCartney.  Sir Paul's style certainly rubbed off...

In follow-up I bought this one, along with Robert Plants latest "Carry Fire."  Talk about yer whip-lash set of music to listen to over the holidays, eh?  Anyway, over all this latest CD out of Beck ain't bad, in a pop'ish kind'a way.  I'd recommend it.

Indeed. Ear-catching. Sounds like George Harrison guitars. And Abbey Road chorale vocals.

Nothing like some NEW BECK, and I am excited by it! I can't get enough of that atmospheric soundscape there at the end. Beck rocks!

Love this song and the new album.  Can't believe we were all getting crazy with the Cheez Whiz 20+ years ago and he is still making great music.

He's re-invented himself yet again, and sounds great. I look forward to hearing more of his new stuff!

This played nicely right after side two of Abbey Road. Had a definite Leon Russell/Concert for Bangladesh vibe to it.

Pretty cool.  That "bouncy" piano bit at the beginning made me think he may have had Ben Folds playing on this album.  I guess it's Greg Kurstin; he's a busy guy these days.
