"Thirty minutes after my ship set sail, she put up a sign and my house began to wail."

One of my all-time favorite lyrics.

I recall once upon a time
Livin' was so easy and I felt so fine
But, my, my, my
Right before my very eyes
Satan came with fire to burn me
Wouldn't listen when they warned me
A dagger in my back
While she's calling me honey wouldn't stand back
For neither love nor money

Allways good to hear Allman Bro's.  How about one play of "Blue Sky" from this very disk.

among the Allmans best stuff. vocals, guitar/slide/organ/bass/drum work, the whole shebang.

It occurs to me that the Doobie Bros were kind of an Allmans Lite.

Long live Barry Oakley III.

No doubt, one of rock's very best bassists.

First concert ever. I remember this song being great! And that was a realllyyy long time ago. I will always fondly remember Allman Bros. as my "first". Fell for Dicky Betts after seeing him play so passionately and expertly.
