I really hate Credence. I really want to hate this song... but I just can't.

Turn it up loud!! I used to dance to these guys in 7th grade. My girlfriend did the 'Jerk' better than anyone. I never would have thought, but now she's a cardiologist. LOL

It was originally called "Zaentz Cant Dance" but he was gonna get sued again so he changed it.
The scumbag Saul Zaentz also produced the movie Rainman, probaly using the profits from Johns copyrights that he suckered him out of.

Fogerty's relationship with his record comapny was surreal. He got sued in his solo career for sounding too much like himself in CCR, among other things.

And, like Berry, it always sounds fresh and new when he does copy his own riffs. If you're going to rip someone off you should make sure the one you pick is good, right?

Used to play in the Berkeley hills... in their garage... then made it big. So said my step-dad. Bud. Then, I met John Fogerty while working for his brother in his pizza parlor, northside of Berkeley. He came up to the bar. Can't remember what he ordered, but we were both wearing diamond studs. Kind of laughed about it. And that was it. My brush with fame.

What a cool band.

More Creedence, yes... yes....

Ok, "Bad Moon Rising" is up there, but a little overplayed... "Run Thru the Jungle" just as spooky, and maybe more relevant (ie, Vietnam war..) ?
