A drunk Ted Kennedy drove off a bridge from âChappaquiddick Island, climbed out of the partially submerged car, and left Mary Jo Kopechne to drown. Kennedy's driver's license was suspended for 16 months
Maybe it's just me, but I think incidents like these should register much more with voters than how politicians are caught treating their family pet...
I just skimmed the Axios article you linked to and it never states, suggests or implies that Eric Swalwell slept with Christine Fang or was romantically involved with her. Fang volunteered for his re-election campaign (she volunteered for other politicians' campaigns as well) and was a bundler for Swalwell. She may have been instrumental in getting an intern placed in Swalwell's DC office. She abruptly left the country in 2015.
From the Axios piece:
A statement from Swalwell's office provided to Axios said: "Rep. Swalwell, long ago, provided information about this person â whom he met more than eight years ago, and whom he hasnât seen in nearly six years â to the FBI. To protect information that might be classified, he will not participate in your story."
What happened: Amid a widening counterintelligence probe, federal investigators became so alarmed by Fang's behavior and activities that around 2015 they alerted Swalwell to their concerns â giving him what is known as a defensive briefing.
Swalwell immediately cut off all ties to Fang, according to a current U.S. intelligence official, and he has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
Fang left the country unexpectedly in mid-2015 amid the investigation. She did not respond to multiple attempts by Axios to reach her by email and Facebook.
So if you have evidence Swalwell slept with Fang, please do share.
As for Ted Kennedy, he should have resigned after Chappaquiddick. But voters re-elected him 7 times after the incident. Take it up with them.
Repeating my usual inference: the âconservativeâ âmediaâ are just parroting ideas that 1) hurt or kill Americans and are probably 2) generated by our enemies, fed into our media, and propagated by these dupes.

Blind squirrel moment, but you are correct. Of course how the treat the family pet does say a lot about their ability to have empathy for those who they should care for. A general indicator for how they might treat others who they are supposed to care for (that's the general idea behind public service, not the access to insider stock tips).
Mike Huckabeeâs son hanged a dog.
Sarah Palinâs son stood on one.
Tomi Lahren kicks hers.
Mitt Romney drove with his on the roof of his car.
Ted Cruz abandoned his.
Kristi Noem shot hers.
In conclusion, Republicans are a bunch of dog-hating sociopaths.
Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.

And Obama had one for dinner. He clearly loves dog (on a stick that the dog had to fetch).

Ken Chesebro used a secret Twitter account to aggressively promote the use of fake electors, supported by state legislators. He did this well before election day and continued doing so after that. He then LIED to investigators that he didn't have a secret Twitter account. But he got caught and his plea deal may be sunk.
I'm just trying to get you to explain how you think that legal concept relates to the Bidens.
You could'a just asked liked you did above instead of the way you did. Like I said we would have had a completely different conversation.

Kurt, when the dope clears from your mind, try reading Steely_D's post placed just below yours. Come back to reality, Kurt, and stay out of the pumpkin patch.

For my part, I just shrug my shoulders when you hype the latest Democratic "scandal."
I feel the same way when you parrot the latest democratic talking points.

Maybe we should stop sparring with each other for a while.
Good idea. I'm thinking that I need a drink in order to understand you anymore.
