Wow.  I'm going to your ER the next time I break something.  I don't care if you are nuts, I just hate the four hour wait.

I can feel them right now, because they ache. I was just thinking about putting socks on with my slippers.  And they are only a pale, mottled pinkish-purple, so..... WIN! {#High-five}

If you want to call wearing socks and slippers more often treatment, its working brilliantly.

Based on your recommendation against treatment and the fact that I survived all these years without it and without knowing what was going on, I'm not worrying over it.  I'm just much more aware of it.  And BDH does not gretz at me when I say I'm cold, anymore.

And what glass houses have to do with it, I have no freaking idea.  But then again, you rarely make any sense, so whatever.  Never look a gift horse....

"often" numb is different. Here it's not the primary problem, but an additional thing to know about the amount of pain he notes.

Intermittent numb can be from compression on the nerve from a wallet or some other mechanical thing, as well as biochemical stuff. But if it's intermittent, that implies reversible, which is less frightening than consistent.

And I didn't get the sense that it was the primary issue. I thought she was asking about what to do with a broken toe.

I just learned a little lesson about visiting this forum and trying to help.

Whatever works for you, Rose, that is what counts.

I want someone to care about me, but not hover over every single boo boo I get. When my husband was in the hospital, on a ventilator, he got plenty of attention, but I think that for the most part, a person is responsible for their own health, and he doesn't seem to care, so it seems to me that you caring more than he does would be overkill, plus taking the responsibility for his own health out of his hands. But again, he is your husband, it's up to you.
