So I asked the law clerk in Dublin if she maybe had an idea when I might get my
inheritance so Mag and I can put a down payment on our acre of Paradise called
Glory Road. She said don't count on it because the probate courts are backed up
a good eighteen months. And they can't seem to sell the house. I don't know why,
it's prime Dalkey real estate. Which ain't cheap.
Anyone out there want to loan us 40k so we don't lose our dream? I didn't think so.
No worries, I think we can scape up enough to secure it. But holy crap, batman,
those interest rates! We were hoping to buy some points and bring the rate down
a little. I just want to wake up knowing I'm not going to be kicked out of my home
at the whim of some tiarna cac who wants to line his khaki business shorts.
