In an episode tonight someone made reference to winning an election and then the courts take it away from you.

Too soon, man.

It's got Rufus from The Man in the High Tower (I still need to finish that). I think it's pretty smart. Most of the cast is growing on me.  Lenny Kosnowski as Donald J. Biden is fun.

Reminds me of Slow Horses. Hope we get a season 3 of that one.

Rufus Sewell is a great, great actor. Wasn't thrilled with how The Man in the High Tower petered out at the end but that was an amazing series. I've been buying up a lot of Philip K. Dick's stuff because of that and Bladerunner and Minority Report and...

Must check out Slow Horses.

"Kleo Straub" on Netflix is pretty good. Can't wait to watch Season 3 of "Happy Valley" and the next season of "Babylon Berlin."

Three episodes into this and it’s about 75% of the West Wing. Serious topic, but some comedic stuff intertwined through it.

We kept waiting for "the change" from when a show attempts to hook you vs. when it "hits its stride".  Finished the season.... still waiting.

Just finished Drops of God on Apple TV... it was pretty good.

Just started this....
1 episode in... really interesting so far.

I caught the 1st 3 episodes. Hilarious. Might be the funniest thing out of Britain since Python.

You might also like "People Like Us", a British mockumentary series about a bumbling interviewer talking to various people about their jobs and careers. The whole thing teeters on the edge of absurdity and the deadpan jokes come at you fast and furiously. Season 1 is on Amazon Prime at the moment.

Oh noes!
‘The Last of Us’ Is a Very Conservative Show. Really. (NYT, Goldberg)

Then again it's hard to imagine a post-pandemic/apocalyptic 'liberal' dystopia.

I believe there are a couple of other Cunk series on YouTube (Cunk on Britain and Cunk on Shakespeare), but we haven't had a chance to look for them yet.

I was on the edge... you talked me into it.

I'd read about the video game's unusually bleak/consequential game play. Sounded like a good premise for yet another post-apocalyptic/dystopian TV series.
