Last night I thought I found you
I saw it in a dream
I was tangled in the rushes, baby
You were caught up in the stream
And the more I tried to reach you
The more you slipped away
And when I woke up in the darkness
I was callin' out your name

You and I we dance around it
Why is the truth so hard to say
We long for true love, well
We've found it, it's just
One belief away

There's a shadow in the garden
And it's coiled around our hearts
Won't you help me to believe you, baby
Won't you show me where to start

The more I try to reach you
The more you slip away
I want to wake up in the darkness
And hear you callin' out my name

You and I we dance around it
Why is the truth so hard to say
We long for true love, well
We've found it, it's just
One belief away

This is one of those songs that reached out and said, "hey, I am fantastic. I got soul!"  Thanks Bonnie.
What a lovely song. Thanks, William.

I think it's great when Bill pipes up and comments on the tunes and artists. Today was exceptional because I could hear his doggy barking in the background! I recall when RP first went live and one of my favourite things to do while loafing off at work (and chewing up the bandwidth on RP and Napster downloads) was to view the live shot in Bill's studio on the RP website, where I often got to see his dog at his feet. I'm sure his dogs was helping him and Rebecca create RP into something so special!

What a sweet comment. I bet your right!

Hope everything's ok with the dog! (this comment won't make sense the next time Bill plays this)
This comment makes absolutely no sense to me at all. And, here's hoping everything is okay with all dogs everywhere

mmhh today the dog barked as well - I heard it last time too, it looks like Bill save his insightful comments, which makes sense :)

Cool new Bonnie song!!

Too bad the Raitt H8rs are probably already swooping in.

Too late.
I'm not typically a Bonnie fan. She's talented, but to my ears every song sounds similar or identical.
But this one is a little different. Maybe it's the cowbell or the melody and a singing voice that comes across as different.
