They got a place down Kentucky
Right down near Ohio
Where you can watch the planes at night
People line up to watch each flight

I said watchin' them planes
I wish I was on one
I'm sittin' here thinkin' 'bout my red head dream
If I could only see her tonight

Whoa, Atlanta
Whoa, Atlanta
I said oh, oh Atlanta
I got to get back to you

Well, you can drop me off on Peachtree
I got to feel that Georgia sun
And the women there in Atlanta
They make you awfully glad you come

I said watchin' them planes
I wish I was on one
I'm sittin' here thinking 'bout my crazy dream
If I could only be there tonight

Whoa, Atlanta
Whoa, Atlanta
I said oh, oh Atlanta
I got to get back to you

We'll make a day and how just you and me
Where the music plays all night
They got the boogie band blowin' that's bound for hell
And when they get to movin' they never stop
You just keep on playin' that down home beat
You just keep on layin' it down hot

I wish I was on one
I'm sittin' here thinkin' bout my red head dream
If I could only see her tonight

Whoa, Atlanta
Whoa, Atlanta
I said oh, oh Atlanta
I got to get back to you

And Richie Hayward.

Feels like it's been so long - too long - since I've seen Feat and all my fellow FeatFans.
Skoal primm!   lovedem feat  : P
Yeah, man.  I can identify.  Hartsfield-Jackson has lots of planes, and over 100 million passengers last year.

Saw them live about ten years ago, and they were great.

Dat da troof!
Wow...what;s going on at RP? This is the 3rd rocker in a roll on the morning of 11/25!

On this song, I think Emmy Lou, Dolly P, and Linda R are singing backup!
Everybody in my mushrooming multitude of homeless camps loves this song...

Should be playing "The Fan" from this album
Ma Hull's banana pudding
Judging by the comments, I think Romeotuma really likes it.

Very grateful to Bill for peppering more Feats into this gumbo.

I was working then realised what was on and it made stop mucking out the pigs! I can't work now for the rest of the day....superb
This puts me the mood for something by Atlanta Rhythm Section...

My fave album of LF.

They got that boogie band blowin that's bound for hell
and when they get to movin they never stop ...

Atlanta: best town on the planet.

Fortunate enough to have seen them in Boston about the time this was released.  Didn't know who they were going in, bit I sure did walking out.

Great song off a fantastic album.
The only song I know of that mentions the Cincinnati airport:

They got a place down Kentucky
Right down near Ohio
Where you can watch the planes at night
People line up to watch each flight
I said watchin' them planes
I wish I was on one...
