Woohoo
I was walking down the street the other day
Who did I meet?

I met a friend of mine and he did say
Man, I can smell your feet a mile away

Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away

I was walking down the street the other day
Ah, who did I meet?
I met a friend of mine and he did say
Man, I can smell your breath a mile away

Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yeah smile away
Smile away, come on now, hoo, sweet little girl, smile away
Yes, sir smile away, now smile away, quietly now
Hoo hoo
Smile away now
Smile away, smile away, smile away, yes, sir, smile away

Ah, who did I meet?
I met a friend of mine and he did say
Well, I can smell your teeth a mile away

Smile away, oh, oh, oh, oh, smile away, oh, oh, smile away, oh, oh, oh, oh, smile away
Oh, oh, oh, oh, smile away, oh, oh, oh, oh, smile away, oh, oh, oh, oh, smile away
Oh, oh, oh, oh, smile away, oh, oh

I don't care what the neibors say, this song  ROCKS!
I love it!
As socially relevant today - as it was the day it was penned...

This may be Paul's low point... a solid 3 ...

No - the "low point is 10 years after this.
Give Sir Paul a break.

He was in love with his wife, and they were in a band together having fun playing RnR.

This album is OK, better than the 1980s crap they put out.
C'mon now..  horribly now  ..  I love it  mdfergy wrote:

belongs to that strange category called vapid rock done tolerably well.
Small World.
Maybe the weakest song on the album but the energetic vocal helps boost it up some.

Hey OTB!  BillG just quoted you.  7.34 seconds of fame on RP.
Me thinks this one would be better live.   Especially after a pitcher of beer....

{#Roflol}  I guess that means I still have 14 minutes and 52.66 seconds of fame coming!

Here, here.  Totally underrated.
When I find myself in times of trouble...

Man, I could smell your breath a mile away.
I thought for a moment that perhaps this was the Wombles with a few beers on board.

Smile away, horribly now.

Yep, incredibly stupid, but it made me smile today as it did back in college.
Memories of my youth .. fine indeed.  Thanks RP  I'm still smilin'
Turned off RP and listen to Red Rose Speedway. Thanks for the reminder Bill.

What a surprise! I sang along to this and other songs from this on my first 8-track player in my room every day after school...Fun stuff!

I just love this album. Brings back many good memories of playing the darn thing to death… 8^)

Me, too!  {#Sunny}
I have a strange fondness for this song, and I even respect and admire Paul for being unafraid to put something out there so completely and utterly absurd.  {#Lol}
Well, Paul and Linda were having fun. But I'd say they sold this because they're, well, Paul and Linda. And if Eleanor Rigby and Michelle, among other Paul creations, were real people, they'd be throwing bricks.

Usual boring non Beatles, P Mac fare imo.
Great addition to the library.

Love it.

Haven't heard this nugget in an eon!  I wouldn't want it on heavy rotation, but it's a pleasant blast from the past.
