Great artists. Saw him in Roanoke Virginia Victory Stadium about 1999. Amazing musicians. 8

Fortunately no one was killed, but I was nearly beaten to death when I mockingly imitated Dave's nasal twang for my girlfriend inside the crowded RFK Metro station.

This is why I love RP. I pretty much ignored Dave Matthews like, always. With RP, I'm getting exposed to them in little doses. It's been nice to hear them on here. As opposed to, say, the preceding artist (U2) and any selection of theirs. And the current over-dosing that's been going on.

He seems to sing through his nose. Do you suppose he smells through his mouth?

Saw them live with Carlos Santana at a free concert in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco many years ago.

I equate these guys to an amalgam of original ideas/compositions from other musicians. technically, dm band is superb. They are great concert musicians. On the level of original composition they deserve a #2 or #3. But, originality is not necessary what makes a group economically successful or a crowd pleaser. Davie is $rich$.
does anyone remember \"the best of the classics\" tapes that came out in the 1980\'s? \"the best of the classics\" = crowd pleasing amalgam.
