Satellite in my eyes
Like a diamond in the sky
How I wonder.
Satellite strung from the moon
And the world your balloon
Peeping tom for the mother station.
Winter's cold, spring races
And the calm away by the storm is chasing
Everything good needs replacing
Look up, look down all around, hey satellite

Satellite, headlines read
Someone's secrets you've seen
Eyes and ears have been
Satellite dish in my yard
Tell me more, tell me more
Who's the king of your satellite castle?

Winter's cold spring erases
And the calm away by the storm is chasing
Everything good needs replacing
Look up, look down all around, hey satellite
Rest high above the clouds no resrictions
Television we bounce 'round the world
And while I spend these hours
Five senses reeling,
I laugh about this weatherman's satellite eyes.

Satellite in my eyes
Like a diamond in the sky
How i wonder.
Satellite strung from the moon
And the world your balloon
Peeping tom for the mother station

Winter's cold spring erases
And the calm away by the storm is chasing
Everything good needs replacing
Look up, look down all around, hey satellite

Rest high above the clouds no restrictions
Television you bounce from the world
And while I spend these hours
Five senses reeling
I laugh about this weatherman's satellite eyes.

a less than great version. it sounds out of tune to me.
There are better songs on this album....The song that Jane likes for one. This one is great, but I agree overplayed not only by the radio but also by my roomate in college.
bring on the DMB ....I will take it, thanks!
one of my faves from dave, and obviously not overplayed here
This is a total rip-off of a Gentle Giant riff.
Yeah, it's overplayed, but it remains a great song from a fantastic album.
Dave has so many songs - this one gets a lot of airplay everywhere. I still enjoy it but would love RP to go deeper into the DMB genre... Thanks though Bill - I will take what I can get !!
