The confusion of who sings in a given song is encapsulated in this comment. I have seen Mariannes Faithful live and listened to far too many recordings: to wit; this sounds nothing even remotely at all like her. I wonder if the problem is lousy speakers?

I grew up in a extremely religious community. So religious that there was only one record store in town that sold rock n roll devil music. This was the first album I bought there.

Seems like a small, quiet movie. Interesting that it had such a hold on you two...

Judd had a small but memorable part in a great movie, "Heat", released about two years later ('95). Michael Mann wrote, directed and produced it and it is ALL GO. I get the impression that his movies generally are non-stop like that. Extraordinary cast including Pacino and De Niro.

"Ruby In Paradise" is one of my favorites from Victor Nunez. I don't think he has directed anything better since - but "Ulyees Gold" was ok.
