Jrzy you are absolutely right. This is a cover of the originalBuckingham/Nicks version before they joined Fleetwood Mac. This is a nice rendition of the original, but I will always prefer the Buckingham/Nicks version.
Lindsey has stated that this song was written about a woman he became involved with after his breakup with Stevie Nicks. That would have been in 1975 or 76, I believe. Not during the Buckingham Nicks era. And as for THIS version...not a good idea to try to cover Lindsey if you're not a guitar player of his level. Of which there are few. IMHO.
