Well, I took a walk around the world
To ease my troubled mind
I left my body lying somewhere
In the sands of time

Well, I watched the world float
To the dark side of the moon
I feel there's nothin' I can do
Yeah

I watched the world float
To the dark side of the moon
After all, I knew it had to be somethin'
To do with you
I really don't mind what happens now and then
As long as you'll be my friend at the end

If I go crazy
Then will you still call me Superman
If I'm alive and well
Will you be there holdin' my hand
I'll keep you by my side with
My superhuman might
Kryptonite

You called me strong
You called me weak
But still your secrets I will keep
You took for granted all the times

I never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head
If not for me, then you'd be dead
I picked you up and put you
Back on solid ground

If I go crazy
Then will you still call me Superman
If I'm alive and well
Will you be there holdin' my hand
I'll keep you by my side with
My superhuman might
Kryptonite

No na na na na na no no

If I go crazy
Then will you still call me Superman
If I'm alive and well
Will you be there

Holdin' my hand
I'll keep you by my side with
My superhuman might
Kryptonite
Yeah

If I go crazy
Then will you still call me Superman
If I'm alive and well
Will you be there holdin' my hand
I'll keep you by my side with
My superhuman might
Kryptonite

Whoa hoo whoa hoo whoa
Whoa hoo whoa hoo whoa
Whoa hoo whoa hoo whoa

This song takes me right back to highschool
I loved this song when I was a teenager, it still reminds me of these days...
kudos to whoever suggested it here
Not typical RP fare but I love the surprises on the playlist.
O hai college
All the people putting this song down for sure don't even know how to hold a guitar.
This song blows chunks !
You're not crazy, Bill- but you're still our Super-DJ! Thank you for playing all the great tracks! =)
How could I possibly like this?  I don't know, but I do...
Sorry musicologists, it rocks.

Unfortunately, mediocre songs have always been overplayed on the radio - there's really nothing "amazing" about that.  I would never have gone out and bought this, but I don't mind hearing it every once in a while; there's worse stuff.

Sadly, if you look around you will see that there are other humans on the planet, using your air.  I know, it's irritating.
I just found out that "post-grunge" is a genre.
literally have not heard this song in years!! :)

I understand the sentiment...however one of the reasons I enjoy RP is the vast array of material. Sometimes tunes I barely admire sound a bit better to me in the context of this station. Of course, there are tunes that will never escape my disdain...but those are rare here. My advice...is to be patient, since a tune of disliking usually ends in a few minutes and you're usually rewarded with something cleverly segued or mixed in beautifully and thoughtfully. Hang in there! Life isn't THAT hard.

3 Beers Down
I love this! And it's really refreshing to hear it on RP...

Brings me back to when my kids were younger and they hooked me on this:

This is a pop song, and I can't believe I'm hearing it here. But i have to admit that it's an excellent song. Straight ahead rock. I gave it a 9 because I love the song and for the Pink Floyd references I heard this guy also wrote the lyric in high school, not unlike how Waters wrote some of his lyrics for the Wall in high school. Leave your pretentious nature at the door in order to appreciate this song! ;)
The mix on this has always bothered me. ok its a decent song.. but the mix is lame.
To mediocrity!
This song is total garbage and does not belong on RP.

Yeah, that was my reaction too. I don't mind the song, but I would hate to see it go into too heavy of rotation here at RP.
Meh. I never liked this song, even when I was totally into mainstream radio alt-rock. I don't care that it was once overplayed, but I still don't like it that much. And these lyrics are cheese-tacular. 3.

is Mr. Elitist to you...
People please relax. It's just one song. One little song can't hurt anyone. Sure it was overplayed 5-6 years ago, but I enjoy an eclectic mix of music, and variety is what makes this station great.

Geez, chill out people. Judging by the reviews, this song hasn't been played since 2003. I think it's safe to say we won't be hearing this one again for another few years.

Ahh yes, nothing like a Clear Channel song to make the natives go crazy. Look, it's not like this song gets played on RP every day, or even every month for that matter. Is it mediocre? Yes, but you know what, it's kind of catchy. It's not Bill's fault that Clear Channel plays this song every 5 minutes. Just as long as it doesn't get played again until 2007, I'll be happy
i liked that, it's very catchy! No snobism here!
Even though I have love for these guys because they're from my home state, this is the kind of music I come to RP to get away from. I can hear that song almost every time I turn on the local radio stations... it's not necessary to play it here. I come here to hear songs that aren't played anywhere else.
I think the rating dropped 0.7 during the course of that song. I really hope we don't have to suffer through it again here though.
I like it.
Ok, I'll buy another shirt. Please just don't play this again!

I actually don't like the song for a very shallow reason - I saw an interview with the band and something about them rubbed me the wrong way. It's catchy, I guess. I just don't care for them as a band.
Boooo. This song is the epitome of the crap I avoid by listening to RP. Please, for the love of your god, never play this song again.
so f'ing weak. one of those songs that makes me go back to my own playlist :(
Ahhhhggggg!! I like this song and hate it at the same time. I like it right up to until he says Kryptonite. Then I start liking it again. Can I rate it a 2 and a 9 at the same time?
This song might not have much meaning but who cares...I always sing along to the chorus. Lighten up people! Not every song has to move you.
this sux. did Clear Channel program this?
wow. theory of 3 puddles down of nickelback, on radio paradise. sad.
wow...3 Doors Down? really?
quote From: The Ego Date: Dec 7,2000 This song is written to sound good, and that is what it does. It does not have deep emotions attached to it like other radio paradise songs. It is just a song that does exactly what the writer wants. It inspires cheap thrills. So what your saying is the rest of the songs on RP were written to sound bad?? these guys sound good because they are good....or am I just being silly? sheesh as for deep emotion listen to Loser from the same album...and the new album sounds like a good one too
This song is completely indistinguishable from every other song on the CD. Every single song is the same shallow sound and tempo. In other words, once you\'ve heard one, you\'ve heard them all. In fact, once you\'ve heard one of them once, hearing any of them ever again is not worth the effort. Why in the heck is it here?
Hmm. I LIKE this song. (And since I don\'t listen to top-40, just RP, it hasn\'t been overplayed as far as I\'m concerned.) I guess I\'m boring, uninspired, a lover of cheap thrills. (And when is it bad to like a song because it SOUNDS GOOD? Jeeze, what pretension.)
Amazing how such a mediocre song was over-played so much on the radio. I don\'t care to ever hear it again
I don't particularly dislike this song, but radio overplay has soured me towards it for the foreseeable future.
please.....spare us all from this Top 40 tripe and take it off the play list
