Paint the world anew
Find a way to open all the joy in order to
Illuminate the strain
Fireworks in the blue
B'yond the burstin' endless shine
Show me where the real light is

Buildin' a wall inside
Wall round my heart
Buildin' a wall inside
Yeah
(repeat)

Repeat first verse over except "Alleviate" instead of "Illuminate"

It kinda sounds like David Gray got himself caught in his fly??
this song instantly takes me back to the summer of 2001...
Put the Charlie May remix on and this would be a solid 10/10. Amazing tune.
I've heard worse, but better isn't hard to come by.
One of the things I liked most about David Gray's early work was the unprocessed feeling of his music. That beautiful sound acheived from just his voice and a guitar separated him from all those studio nightmares out there. This, on the other hand, is the polar opposite of his signature style...pure sythesized, processed garbage.

Fixed that for ya.
Can't stand David Gray.
krp?
OK RP. You're on official notice -- this is the 3rd KRP song I've heard in the past 90 minutes. You have the rest of the day to clean up your act & redeem yourself!
I love this song. I can't pinpont what I love. It's just the combination that makes me smile.
As with all Orbital tracks, this gets better with every listen.
wow, love it. Didn't think I'd hear that here...
So if I press Circle Circle Square Triangle R1 L2 Up Up Down Start and roll the analog stick counterclockwise, that should be the cheat code to STOP this crap?
This is so much better that the stuff he used to do with Jim Messina. :)
I love this!
David Gray has this wierd effect on my speakers that makes them suddenly get turned up louder. this song made me add in more of my subs too. it was a cool bouncy poppy backround to contrast davids strong stable voice
Torn somewhere between folky David Gray stuff, synthpop and video game music. Interesting track, to say the least.
cool 80's vibe!
It's that constant cheap keyboard harmonica sound doing that repetitive dee-doo dee-doo dee-doo dee-doo dee-doo That makes me want to take a cheese grater to the inside of my thighs, then sit down in a hot frying pan full of turpentine. Parts of the song are ok, I just can't take that noise.

Really? You're in for a treat then, as you discover more of their older (and much better) stuff. The handful of tracks in the RP library are, ahem, not their best.
Bleep!
I like both David Gray, and to a lesser extent, Orbital, but this just doesn't seem to work - 4.

Oh man did they use some sucky old cascio keyboard recorded with a cassette deck on this. Damn this just ssssssssssssstinkssssssssss.
Orbital's last 2 CDs were complete diasters. Good thing they had the sense to call it quits.

I still say its sounds like the Super Mario should be hopping around crushing giant mushrooms with his hammer
Funny -- It does sound like the background of a video game!

Mario only crushed things with a hammer in Donkey Kong. That was before he was "Super". Gosh! Get your facts straight! ;)

My God I thought the begining was "Rush-Camera Eye" off Moving Pictures...I almost fell trying to turn it up!
?? How the devil to you get that?? Actaully I thought it was Manic Street Preachers. I like it!

I like the message best.
Nice song, most melodic and lightweight track in excellent album.

I expect a more eclectic taste from a fellow Dutchman :)
As you know, the liberal days of tolerating everything ('alles moet kunnen'), are over in Holland But, seriously, if you, every once in a while, don't appreciate something that much, it doesn't mean you don't have an eclectic taste.

How in the devil's name can an all two time favourite be Orbital and David Grayzzzzzzz....... Gray is just soooo naff and crap it is unbelievable why Orbital have chosen to 'do one' with him... Shocker!!!
Is it so outrageous to love two distinctly different styles, artists, etc?? If you don't want eclectic, then change the station my friend.
That would have been an OK instrumental if they hadn't had David Gray ruining it. Man - his voice annoys me!!
Good one! Keep it in rotation!
New to me... kinda like it...

a juicy combination....if ever there was a song that could breakthrough to audiences not digging electronica this could be a candidate. How nice to hear the David Gray vocal register on this tune.
haven't heard this one in a while and you know, it's still grabbing my attention! must be time to rate it!
Creative combination of sounds and vocals. Nice.
I was never a fan of techno type stuff, or whatever labels this gets these days, but you play some pretty fine examples of it on here. I may come around yet.
two of my all time faves together is a great thing...
I don't know....this one caught my attention in a likable way
Sounds like it should be taken from the software to the hardware apartment :p
