As soon as you sound like him
Give me a call
When you're so sensitive
It's a long way to fall

Whenever you need a home
I will be there
Whenever you're all alone
And nobody cares

You're just a poor misguided fool
Who thinks they know what I should do
A line for me and a line for you
I lose my right to a point of view

Whenever you reach for me
I'll be your guide
Whenever you need someone
To keep it inside

Whenever you need a home
I will be there
Whenever you're all alone
And nobody cares

You're just a poor misguided fool
Who thinks they know what I should do
A line for me and a line for you
I lose my right to a point of view

I'll be your guide in the morning
You cover up bullet holes

As soon as you sound like him
Give me a call
When you're so sensitive
It's a long way to fall

You're just a poor misguided fool
Who thinks they know what I should do
A line for me and a line for you
I lose my right to a point of view

U2 channeling Tom Jones.

Sounds a bit like Jose Feliciano, without the musicianship.

Whiny voice makes me cringe. Rest of it is pretty good.
Bleah.
It\'s not a bad song... I just feel as if I\'ve heard it before, except with some different lyrics and a different group doing it, on a different station.
this song is great - his singing is much more interesting than the last few artists (REM, Live, etc)
No argument here. He's just a poor misguided fool for singing like that. No, but really, it's a great song . . . *for* *me* *to* *poop* *on*! (Acknowledgement to Triumph the Insult Comic Dog)

No, Neil sings much better. This pushes my "whiny male singer" pet peeve button. If I try to imagine the song with a different singer, like Neil, I think I could like it. :D
Liked them till I saw them live. Was not impressed. Don\'t get me wrong, they were competent, but something just seemed missing. Liked the opening band though, so all wasn\'t lost :) Kevin
one of the better efforts in the last couple of years. :D
I agree. Great album from top to bottom.
Melodic blokes, them.
Much better than the single they\'re currently plugging
Sounds like a Bond theme song
