i love this comment. i don't hear bono either, but i'm grateful.
20 year old comments on this one...hmmm....musty...
Ugh! First time I've had to turn the volume down on RP so far...
I was about to give it a 1, when I noticed I already did. And I don't hear Bono. I hear Joseph Artur. I don't know what's worse.

Yeah, I'm amazed at the similarity. Scary close!

That's what I was thinking. And I am fascinated by the vocal comparisons. Long ago in biology I learned that there were only so many archetypes of DNA...therefore, there are going to be many similarities in people's characteristics everywhere.
Everybody on RP is so fucking concerned with who a musician sounds like--Fun as an aside--but rate the music on its merits. Ever been inspired by a fellow musician? The Beatles, Stones, Led Zepplin, most of the greatest bands in music history wouldn't be on the waves if they didn't sound like the next guy--Get of the horse and enjoy or don't enjoy the music. These guys just plain suck.

Sh*tshop, more like...
Bruce Bono? Better than Yoko!!!
I like all the aforementioned artists but this song is terrible, bugs me whenever its on which is way too much.... no melody.
Thats DM for sure...there is alot of whining about this one though.zborgerd wrote:

I kept waiting for it to go somewhere...it didn't, so I did.

fuck a bunch of springsteen, the eighties are over and so is high school, have some respect for some of these cooler newer artists. Just think these guys are doing what the love how about you?
Losing it for no reason at all is futile.

Hmmm. Couldn't help but notice, but it seems you get mighty worked up over a song that you, yourself, rated a 3. Sweet.

He'd also be frightening to look at.
This is definatly not my kind of sound. :( :(
What a horribly whiny gimpy song.

sounds more springsteen-like to me. actually, remember the 80's song "you lost a lot when you lost me" that's who i thought it was. (whoever that band is - was it the Rave-Ups?)
I was actually thinking it sounded like the lead singer of James. Also from Booth and the Bad Angel. Enjoyed it.
