One of the finest RnR bands to come from Rockford, Illinois!

Actually..they put on a good live show. They had a good guitar player and drummer and the necessary vocals for RnR tunes.

Speaking as a veteran of many cover bands, it would be difficult for me to convey how much fun it is to do a Cheap Trick song once in a while.  Especially this one.  People love to sing along, and the chorus just rocks.

PS:  If you fancy pop tunes, check out Tinted Window, a so-called supergroup that features Cheap Trick's Bun Carlos on drums.

Live version is a 10 this is a 9 I once watched most of a concert at the U.P. State Fair while standing on a post, waiting for my Dad and the rest of the family to show up so we could leave. Standing there looking over the fence I felt like the concert was just for me.

I saw these guys in May 1977. 30 years ago...! They were unknown back then, and were backing up Kiss. It was the first rock concert I'd ever been to (I was 13) and I was totally confused when I entered the Regina Agridome and some band without makeup was playing!! I had no idea that there was something called a backup band back then...
