I think a fair number of the RP crowd know Animal Logic. With the likes of Stewart Copeland and Stanley Clarke, it's the kind of band that would  attract the attention of music lovers like RPers. I'm not sure of her pedigree, but Deborah Holland is a superb vocalist and did most of the writing. Too bad they only made two albums and also too bad they aren't on the RP playlist. If I ever get around to figuring out how to upload songs, Animal Logic will be high on my list.

This song gets a bitchy comment purely because the intro was cool and caught my attention, then the real song kicked in and it was bland pop. Just like smooth jazz- start out with 4-8 bars of something real, then devolve into oatmeal. Yech.

The cow bell reference is from a very very funny Saturday Night Live sketch with Christopher Walken portraying a music producer during a recording session... specifically of song "Don't Fear the Reaper" by the Blue Oyster Cult which has a very prominent cowbell part. Will Farrell plays the cow bell part with classic 1970s afro-style hair and his stomach hanging out over his jeans. The infamous line from the skit is "I've gotta' fever baby, and the only cure/perscription is more cow bell!" (Or something to that effect.) It's a favorite of musicians.

The name Grey Eye Glances comes from a slang-term for "dreams". Saw these guys at our local Barnes and Noble about 7 years ago. They were good and we have several of their CD's from late 90's. I thought they had called it quits but it looks like they're still around.
