I didn't know there was an American Giraffes, I only knew of the Lebanese group, huh.

I expect them to start singing about peaches and kitties and see ninjas jump out of the trees at any second...

It's coming, right?

And as I read further... I know why...

Ooo - I like this. It's powerful without being bombastic.  Eerie, chilling, evocative...  Sometimes, less really is more. {#Sunny}

Totally!  Now, I'm not too sure about this track - just yet.  But, I totally recognized the voice as well.  Time to download!

Roy Buchannan-like.

Guitar sounds like "Ode to Billie Joe"
i knew i recognized that voice! he does have a cool voice and PUSA always knew how to make more with less; cool tune
The lyrics. They don't make sense. He's just talkin'.
Nice!

Folsom. Yeah, that's just what I thought, too. Like where the song goes, though.

Ok, I logged in to see if others felt the same. For once, I'm apparently not alone!
I thought I was going to hear a cover of Fulsome Prison Blues just when it started.
This is cool...
The vocalist reminds me of Jorma Kaukonen. Showing my age here, a bit.
Now we're getting somewhere! 8)

Just read the little bio; the relationship to Mark Sandman shows up in this song too; --d
...yes...i'm driving at night in the moonlight in the desert..... look, there goes a lizard....
Somehow I had to comment on a band with this name :) I haven't heard this song yet but if it is anything like PUSA ...

Tongue in cheek, reminds me of Primus somehow. Isn't this somehow related to Presidents of the United States of America?

WOW!! Great music in this set Bill... good job. These guys are new to me.... think I\'ll go and find some more of thier stuff... any recomendations??
I like this ok, but I\'m starting to hear it a little too often here....I kinda feel like that shouldn\'t happen here. I only listen a few hours a day, and yet there are some songs I hear fairly regularly.... Not sure what that means
This is actually Chris Ballew\'s tribute to his close friend and mentor, Mark Sandman (of Morphine). He did another recording of this song with the surviving members of Morphine. That version wasn\'t mixed very well (you can barely hear one verse of the vocals), but the saxophone is chilling... damn I wish I could find that track. I uploaded this months ago, and it gets played about every 10 days. Yesterday was the first time I actually heard it. Thanks Bill, for making RP happen, and allowing us to share music and opinions. Ask and you shall receive. Thanks Lennier!

Oh, after looking stuff up, well, that would be because this is Chris Ballew's band. (He's the guy from The Presidents!"
Quirky enough to be the guys from Presidents of the US to me. Who are these guys?!? Cool little ditty, and I'm weird enough to like it!
