The overt Christian thing put me off a little, but there's no denying the passion of the sentiment.  Had to look up the lyrics...at first, I thought she was singing "in the name of Islam"...{#Mrgreen}

Good point, I really like Animal Logic, lots of talent in that short lived band. There is no Animal Logic on RP play list, I need to upload some and hope it will pass Rebecca's screening process. I think it would play well in the RP format.

This goes both ways; a known non-Christian artist can make a sufficiently generic love song that it could be interpreted as Christian, or a known Christian artist can make a sufficiently generic praise song that it could be taken as just a regular love song.

OK...time to brag. I hung with Kim (went out to dinner with her) after "Foxfest" (at a radio station I was working at in Manchester, NH). She's an absolute sweetheart, and truly genuine. At the time, we bonded over "The X-Files" (she was a BIG fan). Want to hear some of the most straightforward and really odd advice that she gave me (keep in mind how lyrically genius she is, now)? She said, "...Mike, if you want to get over somebody...you have to go and f**k someone else." How about that? I'll never forget it...and that helped with the breakup I was going through!

Man, how much do I LOVE THAT SONG! Passionate, with some wonderful lyrics. Not overdone, but not limp in any way. I generally think country music is the Devil\'s work and avoid it like the plague, so without RP, I probably would have never discovered this song.

I like the country sound of her voice, and I prefer slightly strident to breathy. I would like to hear more of her. SHe sounds a bit like Sheryl Crow, but she is an individual enough to deserve airplay of her own. Country crossover is an interesting subcategory.
