Your keyboard.
Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question, but which is the cover, this or Duran Duran? This sounds much better either way.

Brings back great great memories.
LOVE RP!! Where else can you hear Payolas/R&H etc. I forgot myself until I came across Dirty Water on youtube!
this just makes me want to hear some joy division
Wow - a blast from the past and a good one too! For those of you who think these guys sound like the Police remember that at the time everyone had reggae and ska influences in their music. The Payolas were a great local Vancouver band that many of us who were in our 20s in the 80s remmebr fondly.
Creepy, Bill. I could swear this old tune was playing in the back of my mind as I was listening to that Wallflowers song, How Good It Can Get. Great mix.
Eyes of a Stranger Sounds 0f \"Police\"
I was getting that bad 80\'s feeling...
Total drivel. And what\'s \"Valley Girl\"?
My Dad was at a wedding in Vancouver where these guys were the band (a couple of years after this song came out). They performed \"Eyes of a Stranger\", and apparently my Dad decided to loudly outsing them. Heh. And he doesn\'t even drink. ;)
There\'s some very odd but great Paul Hyde solo stuff.
Cool. Haven\'t heard this since I saw Valley Girl many, many years ago, yet I instantly recalled this. Who would have guessed the impact that movie would have?
Sort of a pop-rock version of the Police, mainly because of the guitar.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!! Vancouver boys. Rumour has it Bob Rock\'s (or is it Paul Hyde\'s) son is about to become a big ole hip hop star...
Woohoo! What a blast from the past!
yes. a very good song.
