I only hear one -- albeit huge -- artefact somewhere in the middle of the song. The other scratchy and cracking noises appear to be really part of the song
And it takes three of them to come up with this?
Seems pointless, imo. Especially the guitar "sound-effects" midway thru. Bleh.
I absolutely love all the guitar instrumentals on RP, but parts of this are a bit much.

That must be one happy bird....oh sorry I thought you said a tweetie. I agree though, this sucks!

kind of makes it sound like the guitar is slowly choking to death.
Or coughing up a hairball.

No.No.No Please GOD No. Why has thou forsaken me?
I do just love some of the comments on these boards :) I came to slate the song and that last exchange just completely cheered me up... The song still sucks, however.

Duke Ellington wrote this song, fuckstick.
OK, asscheese, I didn't comment on who wrote it, did I? Mmmmm, nooooo. It blows just fine on its own merits. A shame really, but yes, what they have managed to do with this song makes one want to forget who wrote it. Now you can go back to your Jerry Springer show.

If you are going to mention Duke Ellington and these doods in the same 'breath', you must think Kid Rock and Ella Fitzgerald sound the same.

Yeah, Duke Ellington was really far out there. <-X

Make it stop! Please make it stop! OK, these folks are clearly talented, but holy cats, this song is reeeally out there - somewhere between here and where Jesus lost his sandals. Sheesh

LOL... yup. Remind anyone else of the violins in an orchestra trying to pull off Metallica? :-) MojoJojo wrote:

Sheesh EDIT: Again?!?! Uuuugh! The middle "solo" sounds like one of the geeetarists got some goo on his strings and he is trying to scratch it off with a pocket knife.
I am sure their mum's are pleased.

Ho-hum. The sound is not that great, and neither is the playing...
These guys are great. Go catch them live to see how great they are!
Bleah
Hmmm.... what's next? Harmonicats? (Ed Sullivan R.I.P.)

Classical guitar is usually awesome, but what's with the radio-static middle section?
It's a bad rip/encoding of a rough spot on the CD.
Something is missing ... this is a problem of all classical style players playing jazz. Jazz is row of corrections of mistakes
awesome! holy shyte!

A jazz standard and incredible talent. Outstanding.
I liked that better than most arrangements I've heard. When they were actually playing and not just strumming rhythm on musted strings.
Eeeww. Not my fave version of Caravan. No doubt they are great musicians - however this arrangement is not my cup of tea....
These guys are very talented. I have witnessed two concerts, one with King Crimson and the other a lounge in California. Tremendous playing abilities, the circulation theory is awesome. No wonder they are members of "The League of Crafty Guitarists"
Boring and not relevant to hear some jerking off on guitar...
Damn! Now thatÂ'ss what I call some heavy guitar playing!!!

My thoughts exactly. Damn this is good!
Ya know what would sound good after this, my upload of Red Elvises "Lonely Highway Of Love + Scorchi Chornie." It is, however, still being reviewed.
DAMN! These guys are good!
They play okay, I guess.
Would've fit in nicely on KFAT! :)

man, this is some wild stuff! I would love to hear much much more from these folks.
Wow! CGT on RP! Have I died and gone to heaven?

Maybe it's their equivalent of a drum solo?
Right purdy. ;)
