On a roll, 2 PSD in a Row
Shelter from the Storm of Bob Dylan's off key voice
I just don't get this. It's one of the most overplayed pieces of classical music (I remember being seriously impressed with it when I was 19). There are so many equally accessible pieces of classical music that could be played that would be genuinely interesting to hear - as it is I'm just looking forward to this finishing. :(
Always good to hear a classic... :-({|=
Dark side of the moon into this - someone doesn't want me to work this afternoon.
Although "beautiful", this does NOT broaden my perspective on music.
Beautiful!
Check out the Baronics version on the "Get Bach" album

Nice one, Mozart!...I tend to agree!...shout to Ludwig and see what he thinks..... i think this stinks and deserves a big '1' for being soooo bad..... Cover version and all!...
yeah, i prefer the original beethoven version, too...
Hey, ya know, I'm trying to program here. You can't play music thats so good I can't multitask. If this comes up in my next performance review I'm going to blame it all on Bill.

I checked the smaples available at Amazon, and found them to be quite different. I didn't buy it as a consequence. I was considering this CD as a gift. However the Amazon samples do not realy give a good impression. Any other comments on this CD?
Not much of a review here but I bought the CD and it is quite good. There are a couple songs where they use a sax, does not quite work with their format but overall a 7 on the RP scale.
Actually, my work is much better than Luddy's. But this one ain't so bad...

Is the rest of this CD this good? Same style?

Lovely.
excllent, i like this version
An interesting interpretation. I like piano better, but a quite different little twist. More Beethoven would be appreciated. A little more of the Old Ludwig Van!

Beethoven didn't deserve to be raped like that.
Ease up there big fella. Don't take yourself or your music too seriously. It's actually a great rendition.
Beethoven didn't deserve to be raped like that.
Sweet.
\"Do you know something Schroeder? I think the way you play the piaaaano Is nice.\" - Lucy Or am I the only one that thinks of the musical \"You\'re a Good Man Charlie Brown\" and Peanuts in general when he hears this? :D
A beautiful song...thanks Bill
Thank you... I needed that.

Maybe I'll give these guys a shot. I didn't realize Tony Levin and Robert Fripp were associated with the group. :)

Same here. :)

Too cool... it's for info like this that I scan the comments. You can definitely hear "esuaceB". I saw CGT last year in a small setting - terrific show with an all-guitar Bohemian Rhapsody encore.

I bought the guitar music for this piece so I can play it myself (first movement only). THANKS BILL AND REBECCA!

I've seen the following description of RP's eclectic playlist on various occasions: Radio Paradise plays an eclectic blend of modern rock (including many indie artists), 60s/70s/80s classics, world music, acoustic, jazz, blues, and occasional surprises. So I guess this would be lumped under the "occasional surprises" category.

Beautiful....
One of the most moving pieces ever written. Beethoven is Godlike... the guitars don\'t diminish the power of his song.
Delightful Such a sweet sojourn near the end of a work day.
Sometimes you need to inject a little \"class\" into \"classic\". This does it beautifully. Thanks.
These guys have such a clean sound, and I hope some day to see them live. I have to say I prefer their performances of more, um, \"recent\" music, but this one\'s really nice.
Man, Bill...you're going to make me cry. My Mom used to play this on the piano all the time before she had her stroke. Like the song wasn't poignant enough before that... Thank you for this wonderful music.
