Don't be afraid, open your mouth and say
Say what your soul sings to you

Your mind can never change unless you ask it to
Lovingly rearrange, the thoughts that make you blue
The things that bring you down only do harm to you
And so make your choice joy, the joy belongs to you
And when you do you'll find the one you love is you
You'll find you love you

Don't be ashamed, no, to open your heart and pray
Say what your soul sings to you

So no longer pretend that you can't feel it near
That tickle on your hand, that tingle in your ear
Oh, ask it anything because it loves you, dear
It's your most precious king if only you can hear
And when you do you'll find the one you need is you
You'll find you love you

Kinda Björk... or Björk kinda massive attack

Do you generally hate people that you don't actually know?  Or are you addressing her singing?  Or the way she looks?  Cause if it's the singing...well, that's an opinion.  Right or wrong, only an opinion.  Hate is not an opinion...its a disease that eats goodness.

Otherwise, try to be somewhat more intelligent in your comments.  The woman has clearly had a rough time of it in this life.  It's tough living with mental illness and hating someone for existing under that situation;  well, that makes you a bit of a tosser, doesn't it...

And with her passing, your hate is forever imprinted into the spirit of the universe...fly on Irish Angel, be free and soar eternally...

Amen to that 🙏 it made me cry... Even more cause the message she wanted to share with all of us was all about LOVE ❤️ ... Haters make me really sad... Haters need even more love than others
Been recently listening to this album through - it's excellent - check it out if  MA resonates for you.

+1 to 8 today because of Sinead. LLRP
I watched "Nothing Compares" on Apple TV about Sinead O'Connor and have a renewed respect for her. She was just ahead of her time. Gifted singer and fearless advocate.

To hate someone that you never met doesn't look good for your state of mind.

I, too, have been critical of Sinead O'Connor. I was at a training once when the topic of recognized disabilities surfaced. Everyone was asked if they were afflicted with blindness, deafness. paralysis, etc. they preferred. Out of a seminar of 500 people, no one chose mental illness. It's tough. All that said, it's not mental illness that defines your character, it your choices. Sinead's made choices people are free to question. I have questioned those choices. But at the end of the day, she's a wonderful artist and moral judgments are not my responsibility. OP needs to lighten up and listen to the music.

Her singing is excellent. Her breathing is laboured! She should do a cover of 'Every Little(?) Breath You Take! I blame the production and sound technicians for the overwhelming 'toppiness'.

After seeing how widespread the Wayfair child trafficking conspiracy theory got this year, I kind of think the easiest way to destroy someone is with a difficult to disprove allegation that they did something with kids. Then get a celebrity to retweet it and they're cooked. :(

I'm really at tail end of convo but, having been, unfortunately, on the wrong side of the law in my younger yrs, I will simply add.....seems the judicial system has  changed the  saying; "innocent until proven guilty " to " guilty until proven innocent". Truth. Just scrolled down.....now I'm aware of topic.

Police clear Massive Attack star in child porn inquiry

By Anthony Barnes and Nina Marshall

The Sun-Herald

Detectives have dropped an internet pornography inquiry into the frontman of dance band Massive Attack, police said yesterday.

Robert Del Naja - known to fans as 3D - was arrested as part of the Operation Ore investigation, an international crackdown on child pornography. Computer equipment was seized but has been returned. Avon and Somerset police informed the musician's management yesterday that he would not face charges. Del Naja is on tour in Japan.

A police statement said: "A man in his 30s from Bristol, who was arrested on Tuesday, February 25, has been released without charge in relation to internet pornography offences due to insufficient evidence. He is still on police bail in relation to allegations of possession of a controlled drug."

At the time of his arrest Del Naja denied viewing child porn. He said: "I have never looked at child pornography in my life. I am fully co-operating with the police and I would ask everyone not to judge me prematurely. I have total faith in the justice system."

But to oldsaxon's point, I think the word "insufficient" for something like this instead of "lack of" or "no evidence" gives the impression that there was some evidence, but not enough to hold him in custody. That by default makes some people assume guilty.

For christsakes though, are we going to keep this crap going like some did about Pete Townshend for years when he was innocent, because they want to soapbox about how evil pedos are?

I hope not.

I like Massive Attack but this is not one of their better songs. Add to it the nauseating stylings of Sinead O'Connor and it enters the realm of god awful.
..incredablé (? is that right?..whatever)..tuneage attracts at the outset, then sinead seals the deal..sweetness!..

Awesome song. I was wondering if Sinnead(sp?) had a new song, but it's an old Massive Attack album. I'm definitely buying this one. Sooooo cool. Up there with "The Heart's a Lonely Hunter."
I'm drifting. drifting, drifting....cool.
Funny, I was just sitting down to write that I think Bjork could have made this "better", but I see I've already done so!

People who call her that only listen to what The Media says about her and have never sat and listened to her singing - especially the material she's done with Massive Attack and Afro Celt Sound System. She is an AMAZING vocalist. I couldn't possibly give the tiniest scintilla of a flying f**k what her politics are or how she feels about the Pope - she sings marvelously and music with her in it is worth having around. And she's fun to look at too.
Sinead O'Connor and MA...Very Nice!!

Hard to say, could be the other way round. Tricky's influence on Bjork or Bjork's influence on Tricky? Hard to say.
Easily worth a second look. There are times when Sinead mixes well, and times she doesn't... she has always been a perfect mix with MA. I wonder if the rest of the album tastes just as good? Most Excellent. Thanks, B&R.

On one of my first visits to RP I heard this and bought it. I liked it; that led to purchasing Mezzanine, and I LOVE that album.

And the greatest of them all, Tracy Thorn from Everything but the Girl (which I have yet to hear on RP). I hadn't heard this song before, but a certain sound in the drums gave it away as Massive Attack (otherwise, I thought it was a clone).

I made the unfortunate and impulsive choice to buy this album. Why does Sinead O\'Conner have to pollute what could otherwise be a decent electronica jam? Massive Attack gets me with the basslines and drums - Her whiny (and might I add horrible) voice just subtracts from what is the meat of the music here. Sinead O\'Connor -->
100th Window is the chilled and soulfull followup I\'d been waiting for since Mezzanine. Great track!
No, this album wasn\'t nearly as good as Mezzanine- but it did grow on me. Not bad- but I\'d prefer to hear Teardrop or Angel or even Protection or Better Things. IT is nice to hear MA, though.
It\'s mellow, but I like it a lot.
I love massive attack, and 100th window is a decent disc (though IMO Mezzenine is far superior) but this is the weakest track on the disc. Too preachy and lacks that nice massive attack sound. Please play some of the good tracks from this album. But still, I'm quite happy to hear Massive Attack on RP
