You know I can be found
Sitting home all alone
If you can't come around
At least please telephone
A-don't be cruel to a heart that's true

Baby, if I made you mad
For something I might have said
Please, let's forget the past
The future looks bright ahead
A-don't be cruel to a heart that's true
I don't want no other love
A-baby, it's still you I'm thinking of, mm

Don't stop thinking of me
Don't make me feel this way
Come on over here and love me
You know what I want you to say
A-don't be cruel to a heart that's true
Why should we be apart?
I really love you, baby, cross my heart

Let's walk up to the preacher
And let us say "I do"
Then you'll know you'll have me
And I'll know that I'll have you
A-don't be cruel to a heart that's true
I don't want no other love
A-baby, it's still you I'm thinking of

A-don't be cruel to a heart that's true
Don't be cruel to a heart that's true
I don't want no other love
A-baby, it's still you I'm thinking of

How is this only a 7.4? There's a reason it's a classic.

I Agree!  ...IDK?

Snare drum sound was played on Elvis' leather guitar case!

Don't be cruel.
I relly (sic) mean it.
Bop...Bop...Bop Bop

1958.
Another song that got played to death and beyond
Elvis wishes he was as talented as Bowie and Lennon!

He now lives in my house.  Too gifted for the Modern Music scene, too let him out.  Enjoy when Little Richard comes over to jam with him though.
Agent K: No, Elvis is not dead, he just went home.

I'll give him an 8... After all he's Elvis..!
Sing it at your desk!

I like the bass line in this one .{#Bananajam}
Pretty freakin amazing, how ON THE BEAT this guy was, and quirky with rhythms, music and vocals in ways that The Cars were later.

always wonderful to hear my father sing...  miss you, dad...  love this song...

Dad used to pull out his Elvis LPs and jam stuff like this on Sundays when I was around 4 or 5, and I learned how cool it all was...he got such a kick out of how much of a kick I got out of it...
FOUNDATIONS OF MODERN ROCK! (Not without being built upon the mighty work of some relatively unknown soul-bluesmen but someone had to break it big and Elvis sure did.)

I miss you, dad...

had to comment.  Bill, there are such great songs from his early years:  That's Alright Mama, Mystery Train, to name a few. Could you play these too?

Oh yeah! What a perfect choice for the RP mix. It just doesn\'t get much better than the King! I\'d love to hear more of his early stuff. In the meantime, this has got me groovin\'!
can we have a rating above \"Godlike\"? Perhaps \"Elvislike\"?
Thank ya, thank ya very much.
it is fun to watch the head butting guy though
My thoughts exactly... I CAN\'T TAKE IT!!!!!!!!
don\'t be cruel and make us listen to Elvis again
Now this relly sucks.
Now that\'s Rock and Roll! :D
It took me a minute to realize that I was listening to Elvis. I just caught myself dancing in my chair. Who\'ld a thunk that RP would play this? Very nice. Just don\'t let it happen too much. Thanks RP.
Ah, the King! Now i\'m just waiting to hear \"Devil in Disguise\".
this is fun elvis!!
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
