The comparison to Rufus Wainwright is fair...but it also sounds painfully like it wants to be a Paul McCartney vibe. It's not bad...but if I want to hear those elements...I'll just go listen to RW or PM.
This song has real potential. Unfortunately, it hasn't been used. Yuck.

Is that possible? I mean, it is possible, but I think people like that are called female.

you're right. it is very hard to do...however, this isn't a good example of it working. it just, yuck, isn't working for me.
I know I know I know I know I know I know this is AWFUL.
somebody should kick this chick in the gonads.....

What you need is not a cigarette, it's a Chill Pill...

When I think of Funk I think of James Brown... When I think of Jazz?... Mingus... When I think of Rock? I like Reed.. When I think new, exciting... "fresh" material by the most talented individual to walk the face of this earth this century?.. that's right Michael Miller... Or Mr. Miller I like to call him.
Now that was funny!

A bit Lennon-esque? Androginy is ok, if it is creative.

i wouldn't have said it in the same way - but yeah. he kinda does. i don't think this takes away from the song, tho. it's still pleasent to listen to. ^_^
This guy sings a lot better than many girls out there...

No kidding. I thought his first name was misspelled. But then Don McClean had a womans voice at times.
Obviously, he knows something I don\'t... :(

Or maybe it's simple to make music that's so hard (to listen to) like this. Doesn't work for me...

Not by coincidence played after a Beatles song ;) Especially the bridge is very much like something McCartney could\'ve come up with (Which is a compliment). But this artist surely seems to have enough qualities of his own to use it well.
This song is hypnotic -- it really stays with you. I know some people here think its saccharin, I really like it.
Pass the insulin, please. :(
this song is so beautiful, it\'s making me sick.
Great lyrics...great melody... great voice... great band. What more do ya want? I\'ve seen them live as well. Uncommonly good. Signed, A Jaded LA Musician.
