You lucky duck!  I wish I was there!

Getting strong Police vibes - especially the bass & drums. Which makes me like it even more!

Did you switch to Sativa?

Some great music grows on you!!  I have felt that way about many groups (& tunes) in the past!

Great to hear OT on RP.  One of the most out there neoprog bands of the late 80s for sure. Interesting tidbit: when they were sitting around thinking of a name they came up with a hypothetical alien breakfast cereal, " Ozric Tentacles".
GREAT!! I had never heard of them prior to RP. Now, the more I hear it, the more I like it! Thank You RP!
Pretty good!

Let's try begin with Erpland... then maybe try a slip to Jurassic Shift... then... how lucky you are, blotto! :)

Except for missing all the gigs. Best of times. And one of the best bands to smoke a big J to while getting your trousers flapped around by the bass.
Well, it is busy.   No lack of notes.
Now I know where Shpongle got their inspiration! Great stuff.
Bass sounds very Sting-y.  That's a good thing.   I kept thinking they'd launch into a Police tune.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I think so too. I had to come and see if it was Porcupine Tree.
Saw them 15-20 years ago in Toronto, at a club called the Opera House, on Queen Street. Great show!
Was surprised to find I'd rated this a 3.

1 it should be and 1 it is.
Ho yeah! Great zippity doo dah to my day.
Jammin'!!!!

Amazing bass by Roly Wynne; sad that we lost him so early...
That is some serious Stewart Copeland-like drumming there.

RP has habit of doing this for me. Gems everywhere, humble pie-eating as I didn't know squat about music, in all honesty. Let's support the station as much as we can.

looks like roger dean cover art
Someone's been listening to Zenyatta Mondatta.
When prog was FUN!

Except the song isn't Iscense. That's a reggae-infused tune from the same album.

This was Erpland, the title track.
6.3 crowdsource seems really low for this. For me, it's an '8' right out of the chute and only gets better from there.

Wow that's some astute listening on the Billy Cobham thread.  I hear it now.
This is spectacular
I love to hear a real drummer.
Sing Ho! for the Ozrics!

If you don't like this - It's ok really

9 here, rock it outtt brothers and sisters!
The drummer needs a chill pill, or a long rest.

Very good track from an great of an excellent band!
Erpland, Jurassic Shift, Pixel Dream (and a part of Coily) is my Top 3 of the OT.
God bless you, Bill!
This track and its drums are going only 300 m.ph.  Speed it up, boys.
I hear a lot of Billy Cobham's I-don't-remember-which-song from Sectrum here (which is definetly a good thing)

I can't speak for the Ozrics but....
Passez-moi l'expression mais PUTAIN que ça fait du bien d'écouter du Ozric à la radio !!!
Ce n'est vraiment pas l'un de mes morceaux favoris amis c'est un de leurs meilleurs dub.
Et cette ligne de basse !

Thanks A LOT, BILL!{#Notworthy}
Good Call!

Well, in Poacher mansions, Dub plays a lot. . . and I mean a LOT. From late 60s to brand spliffing new.

It is still being produced in quantity and quality. . . you just have to know where to look.

Wow these guys are still putting out CD's although this is 20 years old?  Very nice.

Might this be Maná's counterpart in English?
groooooooooves really so muuuuuuuuch
Very nice set today, could not be better for me! Thanx!
Wow, that's pretty rhythmic (ska?) compared to OT stuff I have heard.

Like it a lot!

What year is this album from?   Is this a new groove for OT?

Cracked me the hell up! Hahahahahaha...
Perfect listening for when your mate's just given you some Albanian weed....
Oh - how Wundervoll!
yyyeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeesssssssssss!!!

Merci, Bill !!!   Made my day!      Not my favorite one but, well, it's OT indeed.
This is their best album but I guess the worse track. Nevertheless, it deserves a good 8.

FA-BIOU-LEUSSE !!!

Is a very good song for this evening here in Bogotá! Thanks Bill

Not their best, but still quite likeable. Good working music.
I love OT, but this track bores me.

Way toooooooo long!
hmmm I always thought this was Gary Clail from the emotional hooligan album * goes to check disc*
Jah mon!
Hmmmm...I sense a really good run of tunes by Bill coming on!
Oh yes, back on the beach, rum in hand, suntanned babes all around - dream on!

Give me a break. All of the above got their ideas from the Afro feel. Peace & respect.

AKA Ostrich Testicles - great band. I saw them live in 93, they also did an excellent DJ set called EatStatic with ribcage-vibrating bass.

I hear it and think of Madness "One Step Beyond", but that's just me. Cool tune, regardless.
Probably the most diverse OT album. Certainly my favourite one.

What? Ozric on RP?!!!??!!!? :D Let this message be short... THIS IS A MAJOR BAND YOU ALL MUST KNOW!!! Great musicians, fantastic rythm section (in most of the quite 20 albums), great inspiration... everyone will easily find personal pearls into Ozric's realm.

such a great band... and almost completely unknown in the states...
First time on this station, and it was nice to hear these guys on here. Good going! Jason
Ahhhhh! I can\'t believe it! I didn\'t get to upload this first! I love this tune. I cover this with my \"band.\" :p
Wow-- I was starting to think I was the only one into Ozric! Great to hear them on RP. Though this foray into reggae isn\'t their best... Play Holohedron!
