ashes to ashes
and dust to dust
that's what has become
of our love and trust

love has no direction
cause love has no aim
love can leave you
as fast as she came

meeting is such sweet sorrow
cause someday we may have to part
hush don't you make a sound
you're gonna let me down

good things come
to those who wait
but good things are gone
from those who are late

all that i am
is all i can give
but with or without you
my life i must live

meeting is such sweet sorrow
cause someday we may have to part
hush don't you make a sound
you're gonna let me down

living ain't easy
since you've been gone
no one else can please me
or make me feel home

forgetting ain't easy
you stay on my mind
thoughts of us haunt me
can't leave them behind

What part of eclectic don't you understand? pyxxel wrote:
Honestly guys, I think RP is getting more and more boring... hey it's supposed to be eclectic ROCK radio!! I really think I gotta leave for a real rock station... this has gone WAY too soft for me. Is it just me or do others share this sentiment? I think it's about time to kick RP back into action with REAL ROCK. Either that, or I look elsehwere... as much as I'll miss the community here.
This guy can rock with the best of em. And he can channel Jimi. But Bill seems to prefer his softer sound. Frankly, I could use a little more lively music these days, now that hibernation mode is setting in.
ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this chick music too? Is this guy like the other one? Jack Johnson?
I'm with you. This guy and Jack Johnson are two very overrated musicians. It would be interesting to see the demographics of their listeners, as I feel it would show a strong female bias.
More mandolin. My grass isn't blue enough.
The instrumental parts remind me of Van Morrison. I like this!
A lovely sound to listen to
Kinda reminds me of Richie Havens... but with teeth.
This cd is one of the best of the 90s. The entire disc is amazing.

The dude from Sublime did too much heroin ehh no huge loss
I am such a sucker for mandolins, or whatever the instrument used in this song is called. Gets me every time. And a saxophone! *swoons*

He did a great performance on Austin City Limits 1/18. Just fantastic.
:meditate.gif: This song is so great- And if you've never seen him live, do yourself a favor and check out a show if you get the chance- it will blow your mind. Glad to see him enjoying the success he deserves

This song is so good it takes my breath away. It harkens to the Grateful Dead's Ripple and the sax evokes Van Morrison.
I agree--what a beautiful song!
