Feed me something
We'll go back to the start
Take pride of place
Understand our reasons
A photograph taken at the time when
Confidence won't up and leave

So loosen your hold
Though you might be frightened
Release or be caught
If this be the right thing
Unable by thought
To look what the tide brings in
Look what the tide brings in

Feed me something
We'll go back to the start
Take pride of place
Understand our reasons
A photograph taken at the time when
Confidence won't up and leave

So loosen your hold
Though you might be frightened
Release or be caught
If this be the right thing
Unable by thought
To look what the tide brings in
Look what the tide brings in

So loosen your hold
Though you might be frightened
Release or be caught
If this be the right thing
Unable by thought
To look what the tide brings in

Just toss it in the microwave and plug your nose.
(thumbs up on the song, btw)

No reason to be sorry. A different opinion is welcome. Must say I love me some Jellyfish too...far more than any Coldplay.
JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE this album

Cross between Jellyfish and Coldplay. It's a good dash of each. Nice result.

Love a lot about this, and again I'm a sucker for a banjo...

Just a phenomenal album all the way through..... never gets old...
like the harmonies.
I'm getting a kind of a prog-rock feeling from it.  Prog with a banjo ... interesting concept.

Love this song!
The beginning of the song holds a lot of promise but the song doesn't quite live up to that promise. Something is off but I'm not going to blame the banjo! If this song were a six-wheeled remote controlled robotic explorer, one of the wheels would be jammed. Still, I like the tune. {#Music}

Great song
Yep, my first time hearing this, too.  I love the strings, and the lyrics... 7 for now, with potential for more... {#Mrgreen}

Quite lovable banjo, great song over all.
Yet another group that is starting to grow on me, thanks to RP!

I have South's earlier album and really like it, but haven't heard much off of this one. Is it good overall?

i'd like to know the answer to this, too. hope someone knows! i have the earlier album as well, uploaded a few tracks from it. always liked them.

I like it...this song and one other that gets played here too are by far the best songs on it. But its pretty good.

Me like...
Hey, banjo's kind of nice when used subtly, as here!
Mama´s and Papa´s of 2008!
GREAT SONG!
Fantastic segue from Tom McRae.
Why be so difficult? Rate the song, and when you hear it again, rate it again. Rather simple.

Thus, you confirm my premise. By permanently muting tunes, you close your mind to ever changing it. There are songs on RP I gave a 2, 3, or 4 to initially that have since grown to a 6 or 7. "Chance favors only those minds which are prepared" - Louis Pasteur, 1854 Likeable tune.
Yeah, I try never to judge a song until I've heard it twice. The first time I rate a song I always rate it a 5, then I only let myself rate things other than 5 if I go to the song and have already slapped a 5 on it....kind of my own personal checks and balances system on my snap judgments.
Is that harpsichord synth?

Great tune. Vocals sound a lot like Chris Corner from the Sneaker Pimps.
I saw them play live, they're wicked.

Yep. And both are on my mute list. edit 27-05-2005: Though I must admit that this song ain't bad enough to be muted. In fact I just upped to a 4.

Just gotta love that banjo - An absolute must to check out the CD of these guys. :D
Very nice! Maybe a little Elliot Smith, too? You just don't hear enough banjo these days. ;-)
Most excellent! :sunny.gif:

excellent use of banjo. very nice!
This song is good... but the track before it on this CD (colours in waves I think it's called) is phenomenal. If you like this song... check this CD out, very nice.
