Come and listen in to the radio station
Where the mighty Hosts of Heaven sing
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on

If you wanna hear the songs of Zion
Come from the land of endless spring
Get in touch with God, Get in touch with God
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on

Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on
And listen to the music in the air
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on
Heaven's glory shared, glory shared
Turn your lights down low, Turn your lights down low
And listen to Master's radio
Get in touch with God, Get in touch with God
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on

Come and listen in to the glory land chorus
Listen to glad Hosanna's ring
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on

Get a little taste of love eternal,
Get a little Heaven in your soul
Get in touch with God, Get in touch with God
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on

Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on
And listen to the music in the air
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on
Heaven's glory shared, glory shared
Turn your lights down low, Turn your lights down low
And listen to Master's radio
Get in touch with God, Get in touch with God
Turn your radio on, Turn your radio on

Probably the best song on RP. {#Dancingbanana}
Yuk!
wow, memories of the Glen Campbell show, and the Smothers Bros
Play anything by Mr. Hartford anytime
Next up, Costello's "Radio, Radio."
What a nice thing to play.

I hope JH is piloting the Julia Belle Swain up on the great river above...
 amen!

Gospel music for sure, but nowhere near as 'inspirational' as Golden Globe Award. To be at a live show, standing in front of the stage facing the crowd, and feeling the 'spirit' rise. It's a thing of beauty! Actually, pairs of beauties.

One of the all time great albums...Vassar Clements on the fiddle- With A Vamp in the Middle
So wonder-full.
toe-tapping and grinning....

John used to always introduce this song with the line: "And now a song with drug overtones" I do miss him, a great talent who was just being re-discovered.
Well, makes me wanna turn the radio off. Somehow this queer Buddhist has no problem with choral settings of the latin mass, but this still gives me the willys. Toe-tappin bluegrass for sure , but still......
Good toe-tapping song, I only miss Hartford's own shoes dancing in the background. I am a Jewish atheist. And I love bluegrass and old time string band music, the Christian songs no less than the rest. I could live without some of the spiritual messages, but give me that old time music! And it might as well be here on RP.
reminds me very much of the fantastic 'o brother where art thou' soundtrack made me think twice about gospel, & bluegrass...
This song proves that RP plays ALL styles. :)
I like it and I'm not a christian. In no way am I going to become a christian after listening to this song but I like it none the less.

Some people don't get it unless you put one of these ;) in there. #-o

Yes, I'm afraid you are way off. This is a very old song, harkening back to the days when gospel songs were in heavy rotation. You see, Christian music used to be pretty popular, back in the days when there were still Christians. But if you listen real carefully, on some am stations during the wee hours of Sunday morning, you can still hear what he's talking about.

One of my favorites. Good to here music like this from somewhere other than my cd player.
Unless you're the *only one* hearing it... (in your head) then it could be very very bad...
Dang, I miss having him around, making more music. :-({|= Thanks for playing it!

is it me, or does this almost seem a touch political? am i reading too far into this? i'm picturing drones and slaves to the media, sitting by their radios, and in front of their glowing "godboxes." am i that far off?

1) It's just you 2) Yes 3) Pretty far off
All you negative vibe merchants make me ill. Just enjoy.

What the hell!! I didn't realise that RP had turned into a Christian station :o Apart from that... this song still suck ;)
Out of all the myriad of influences that can and will influence an artist, why does a christian influence automatically make music less legitimate? That's crazy...

Your RP handle kinda biases your potential opinions, dontcha think?

everything here is like a well balanced diet.
Excellent! Glad to see more Hartford made it to the playlist. I had thought about uploading this but since the others I'd tried were a bust . . . Anyway, great song and I'll keep trying for more
This is SUCH a great album. I was just a kid when it came out and I took up the banjo right away. LOVE to hear more like "Tryin to do somethin.. to get your attention"
This is an incredible record. I've owned it for years.
