My goodness, what an easter egg to drop in on Radio Paradise! This classic tune made me perk up and took me back maybe 30 years. I had no idea who the artist or title were.

I'm not saying it's what I want to hear all the time, but to drop in something like this, or Elmer Bernstein, or ... it's just genius. Thank you!

Nice. I had to check in to see how this one sat with the under 30 crowd. Heh. Brings back memories of my dad's huge vinyl collection of cool jazz. Jobim was right in there. The classic with the uber-cool alto tenor sax of Getz is better, tho.

i love bossa nova (getz, gilberto jobim et al were all brilliant) this is a bad choice. why pick the version with strings? the strings ruin it and make what was a beautiful, beautiful song (see best of bossa nova on verve) and reduce it to muzak.
