Lyrics:

Guess there's no use in hangin' 'round
Guess I'll get dressed and do the town
I'll find a crowded avenue
Though it will be empty without you

I can't get used to losing you
No matter what I try to do
Gonna spend my whole life through
Loving you

Called up some girl I used to know
After I heard her say, "Hello."
Couldn't think of anything to say
Since you're gone it happens every day

I can't get used to losing you
No matter what I try to do
Gonna spend my whole life through
Loving you

Can't get used to losing you
No matter what I try to do
Gonna spend my whole life through
Loving you

I'll find somebody wait and see
Who am I kidding, only me
'Cause no one else could take your place
Guess that I am just a hopeless case

I can't get used to losing you
No matter what I try to do
Gonna spend my whole life through
Loving you

Can't get used to losing you
No matter what I try to do
Gonna spend my whole life through
Loving you

Sometimes "WEIRD"  is very EXCELLENT!  This song is a prime example of that!  Thanx RP!
How can people NOT like this?
Fantastic song!

It's not reggae it's ska
This is my favorite Andy Williams tune.  Great love song.  This version is in my top 200 of all time.  Give Andy Williams' version, what a great voice.  I watched Andy Williams' TV show as a kid and loved it.

Totally brings me back to 81, 82, 83. My Mom treated me to a trip to Switzerland as a going away present before I shipped out to Navy boot camp. I had been looking for this song for nearly a year, to no avail, but found it in a record shop in Geneva. I came home from that trip with a suitcase full of LPs, some I still have, though I don't know if they'll play anymore... too many summers hidden away in my Mom's garage. I should look into that...

Man, have you heard Pat Boone's version of "Blueberry Hill" or "Tutti Fruiti".
They're cool daddyo!

How could you not like the Ska version of this better?

Andy Williams lives up the street from me.
He and Phil Harris (when he was alive. He's now pickled.) seemed to have contest on how many car accidents they could get into while drunk.
What a lush.

LIR was the BOMB. This was the screamer of the week when I first heard it. Donna Donna played it. Never to come again.

Now its Hispanic radio I think.

I kept saying, "Can't get loosed from using you..." when this was in rotation.

God, have these guys released ANYTHING that isn't ultra-cheesy?

Yes, 'Mirror in the bathroom' one of the best Ska tunes of all time!

I have to agree—even sounds like Dave Wakeling is intentionally channeling Andy Williams. It sounds pretty much JUST like the original, so what's the point?

Top shape 2nd wave remake, great beach bound tune!

What a nice surprise to hear this here! yay!

yeah, yeah I know but back in the day this sorta thing was the height of ironic post-punk cool. like when the Specials covered Enjoy Yourself (it's later than you think) an old Bar Mitzvah nugget.
vocals sound rushed...bad

Great cover! Love this song!
WOW this one takes me back...
Too repetitive
Aaaaahhh... the summer of 1981. Hanging out in Glen Arbor, Michigan. Workin at the IGA as a stock boy. I was the side-kick to the "cool kid", Peter, and he played English Beat non-stop. I didn't know it, but it was the best summer / period of my life. Sweet memories - always to be associated with English Beat tunes.
Are you sure that is the English Beat? I mean, that is the worst freaking thing I have ever heard on RP. And I really like the REAL English Beat. I give this one a big ZERO! It is also the worst cover I have ever heard.
My favorite Andy Williams song. Well, I won't hold that against them. Great song, anyway. Come on Bill...PLAY IT!
