Mama África
A minha mãe
É mãe solteira
E tem de fazer mamadeira
Todo o dia
Além de trabalhar
Como empacotadeira
Nas Casas Bahia

Mama África
A minha mãe
É mãe solteira
E tem de fazer mamadeira
Todo o dia
Além de trabalhar
Como empacotadeira
Nas Casas Bahia

Mama África tem
Tanto que fazer
Alem de cuidar neném
Alem de fazer denguim
Filhinho tem que entender
Mama Africa vai e vem
Mas não se afasta de você

Mama África
A minha mãe
É mãe solteira
E tem de fazer mamadeira
Todo o dia
Além de trabalhar
Como empacotadeira
Nas Casas Bahia

Quando mama sai de casa
Seus filhos se olodunzam
Rola o maior jazz
Mama tem calos nos pés
Mama precisa de paz
Mama não quer brincar mais
Filhinho dá um tempo
É tanto contratempo
No ritmo de vida de Mama

Mama África
A minha mãe
É mãe solteira
E tem de fazer mamadeira
Todo o dia
Além de trabalhar
Como empacotadeira
Nas Casas Bahia

Mama África
A minha mãe
É mãe solteira
E tem de fazer mamadeira
Todo o dia
Além de trabalhar
Como empacotadeira
Nas Casas Bahia

''Deve ser legal
Ser Negão no Senegal''

Mama África
A minha mãe
É mãe solteira
E tem de fazer mamadeira
Todo o dia
Além de trabalhar
Como empacotadeira
Nas Casas Bahia

Mama África
A minha mãe

Hey pvc, there's a saying that says "one man's trash is another man's treasure". No one country's music truly represents its people, but I do think it represents little parts of it. Which country doesn't have a little trash laying around somewhere (or treasure for that matter)?

Eu queria saber o que os norte-americanos  consideram lixo.
Good to see it back in rotation!
Outro Brazuca aqui.. devia tocar Mutantes, nao esse Chico Cezar.. devia tocar Chico Science Mutantes! Chico Science! (here other brasilian You must play Mutantes and Chico Science, not this guy)

Both styles are related for obvious historical reasons.
Less related than you might think. Jamaica and Brazil have very little in common, culturally. To say that Chico Cesar is "trying to do reggae" here is just profoundly ignorant.

LIXO .. PICARETAS ... merdas ... que decepção.
Wow - if Caetano Veloso, Chico Cesar, Lenine, and Marisa Monte are all trash as far as Brazilian music goes, I'd really love to hear the good stuff. Who should I be listening to?

Anyone working on the Ginormous Genealogy of All Musical Genres?

Dumbass. This has nothing to do with reggae.

Recorri a esta rádio para me livrar destas "merdas"...que decepção. in English: Carlinhos Brown, Marisa Monte, Lenine, Chico César, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil and many others, are "Pieces of Crap" (from Neil Young's song), for the brazilian people. Sorry, but is true. (They don't represent our culture)

This is what I like about late night RP, you can find all kinds of unique gems that don't get too much play time during the day because of close-minded music snobs that whine when they don't hear their dosage of Norah Jones, Kate Bush, The Beatles, and the like. Don't get me wrong, those are all great bands (well, except Norah Jones), but it's always nice to hear something unique that I don't hear everyday.
Chico Cesar is great. Unfortunatley I only have a tape. Can anyone upload more of Chico Cesar?
