The more I hear of James, the more I like them. Like Porcupine Tree, Cracker and others, I discovered them only via R.P., so starved was commercial radio for anything remotely resembling original programming or new or seldom heard bans. As such, for well over 10 years I've heard NYC FM stations only when a car passes me on the street.  F 'em.

And then we segue to sublime Grieg...
This kind of reminds me of that Daniel Raiteliff tune...
The barely audible background sounds are odd.

Please play more James.  They have an incredible library of music going back to the early '90s I think.  Just put out another excellent CD last year.  One of my favorite bands of all time.  Their CD "Laid" is an incredible work.  Try 'em, you'll like 'em.

Yes to Jim!
lange begleitet dieses Lied mich!

Yep, that's my favorite version!  Took me years to find that CD.

The best version of this song is on the Alternative NRG Greenpeace fundraiser CD that came out in 1994. That particular version was used in an episode of the X-Files a few years later.

i Saw the James two years ago in bournemouth.  I Can't stop dancing since.
YEOW!  Get up & dance!!
7 > 8.  ringing is right

Most under-rated band in the world. Incredible live. Coming out with new album in a month; can't wait.

This is pretty good!  What's howling in the background?  (And I don't mean the voice after the bridge.)  Theremin or guitar with uber-sustain?  Or something else?  Changes pitch like a Theremin, but I've seen amazing things done by bending Super Slinkies.

Another first at RP Music University!

New song!   Not sure quite to what to make of it yet.  But I bet some long-time listeners are experiencing difficulties 'dialing in'.
..RP is pulling 10s all over the place on this post-Thanksgiving overnight..

..sweetness!!..

..and to all fellow RP'ers here in the States, i hope you/yours had a most excellent turkey day..

Hey!  This is NICE!
a favorite James song . . . never heard the live version, though.

Like it, a lot.  I have read in a number of places that they are a great live band, but I've never had the pleasure.
Dyamm!
Instant 8, for the exuberance, and those high notes.  I'd dance in the aisle to this one. Hey, romeotuma, where the heck ARE you??
Fantastic live band...
I kind of like the way this guy likes rocking out.

play more James, pls
