Check it out Joe, ha !
Two, three, four - eins, zwei drei - na, es is nix dabei
Sie sagt: Sugar sweet, you gotta rappin' to the beat
Ich verstehe, sie ist heiß
Sie sagt: Babe, you know, I miss my funky friends
Sie meint: Jack und Joe und Jill
Mein Funkverständnis, ja das reicht zur Not
ich überreiß' was sie jetzt will

Alles klar Herr Kommissar?
(Hey, wanna buy some stuff, man
Did you ever rap that thing, Jack - so rap it to the beat)

kennt heute jedes Kind

Alles klar Herr Kommissar?

Ja vohl
ooooooooh jaaaaa
now where else will one hear the original?  The answer is:  nowhere!  Bravo!  We're dancing.
So glad to hear this here(for the first time) rather than that English language bastardization.
Toll!
Within 3 hours, this has been played now 5 times...

Thats overdoing it a bit surely...
oh wow.
when you listen to the RP standard mix over breakfast and suddenly this pops up and you're like..."wait...wait i know that" and then recognition and then "what the heck? ...on Radio Paradise?" - That was downright weird {#Biggrin}

(I dont know yet if I feel delighted by this cuh-razy mix or not... ah.whoamikidding. Of course I am. Weirdness for the win! Well payed, Bill, well played.)

I often spend time in Germany (Koln), it is suprising how often "Alles klar" gets followed by "herr Kommisar" in normal conversation.   roughly translated something like "everything is fine officer!"
did Warren Zevon's   "Werewolves Of London" cd  get misplaced and RP had to play this instead?
Drah di net um oh oh oh schau schau der Kommissar geht um, oh oh oh  wenn er di anschaut und du waast warum....Alles klar Herr Kommissar! {#Bananajam}Auf Deutsch. Jawohl! Brilliant RP. Never a dull day with RP. Thanks Bill. {#Notworthy}
I LOVE FALCO!!!  THANK YOU, BILL!  {#Daisy}

FALCO was not a respected artist in Europe - instead a master of cocaine-use,
something that ultimately cost him his life, when he made a high-speed accident
on some island, where he was running an (unsuccesful) studio!

An Austrian Coke-Gigolo - that was Falco!

He is now certainly smiling in his grave, knowing RP played his song!
He was desperately trying to be accepted as a musician, something he never archieved!
Originally he was a lame bassplayer in some unknown Vienna band, before he turned
into FALCO, what has not been his real name!

B U L L S H I T!  Dont know where you think you have this from...but you are wrong, oh you are SOOOOOOOOOOO wrong! LOL!

Go to Vienna and say this out loud: "Falco was not a respected artist in Europe"! And then see what happens.....but maybe you run marathons, so might have a chance in Hell to get away before they hang you from the Riesenrad. LLOOOOOLLLLL {#Beat}{#Moon}

Yeah that's because he died in a car crash on 6th Feb. 1998 in Puerto Plata!

Yeah!
Good catch!  But is there such a thing as a religious Commissar?

Until today, I always heard that line as:

"Do you have a rat bag, by any chance?"

I always figured "rat bag" was a drug reference {#Beat}

And so what? You disapprove of his life—and apparently his death. Meh. This is a great song.
Falco, mein Idol! Er war der beste Saenger aus Oesterreich. Wir vermissen dich :(.{#Boohoo}

If this meant to hurt people, you did it! if it didn't, you did it anyways... Ouch!
Good 80s fun. Sure to annoy the humorless ones on RP.
Oh, boy.... Waaayyyy back.... Still dig the grove! {#Bananajam}
lol!!! Soooooo nostalgic of my late teens and 20s lol!
dang reminiscent of clubbing back in the early 80's... {#Tongue-out}
Man, how did I survive the 80s without losing my sense of quality music. But I must admit I cannot stay still at the moment.
Schau schau!

Alles klar RP!

10 - Einfach Super! Einfach überraschend, das hier zu hören!

Thanks, RP!
Gets tired kind of fast.  This Devo clone forgot to add some bars.
A blast from the past.

I am sorry if somebody finds this crap. Granted, it is not The Who, Led Zeppelin. But it is music from past of some people, like me. And it brings some memories.

So, Stingray ease up. Let us be sentimental.

He made some decent songs; this one, rock me amadeus, jeanny, not excellent, but certainly exceeding pop pulp trash of that era.

Fun story, but all I can add is:

SCRATCHED HIM WHERE?

At the college radio station, the DJ was putting together an awesome set and needed to play a Falco song. He grabbed the album with about 12 seconds to go, cued up the segue and saw a huge deliberate gash cut across the entire album. He couldn't play the song and the other song had ended so he flipped on the microphone to fill with some witty banter while his other hand fumbled for *anything* handy to play, a PSA or something... but instead of witty banter, all listeners heard was the end of the first song, dead air, then "SOMEBODY SCRATCHED FALCO!!!!" *followed by some off-mic sobbing/swearing.

The next weekend, a little nightclub had some local bands doing the punk rock thing, including a set from some kids calling themselves Somebody Scratched Falco.
Either radio Paradise has been invaded, or Bill has temporarily taken leave of his senses!  Enough!! Stop this noise!
10 because my wife has a huge smile on her face...
Come on --- this is more excellent than I remember.
Well, I'm just old enough to have heard this song when it first came out.  I think it ages pretty well; certainly better than other songs of its era (Eye of the Tiger anyone?)

I was introduced to this in 1982 by a German friend in Heidelberg.  Part of Neue Deutsche Welle.  I'll always like this song...
Much better version..Yah?
Falco!!! The best Austrian music export since Mozart :)!
Yes great fun this is.!!!
Leider gibt's kein Falco mehr...
{#Lol}
FALCO,  WAS MACHSTE HIER ? {#Surprised}
only the good die young... Falco was great listen to "Amadeus"
