Ditto, that's who I thought it was as I was running water, doing dishes with this quietly in the background.  I like it, and the bass reminds me of the bassist who stepped in after Jaco died, I think his name is Dexter Johnson IIRC.  Weather Report was one of my favorite live bands.  I really miss the new ground they constantly tilled.

Yep you guys got it. Metheny put out some awesome records on the ECM label back in the day. Check out Bright Size Life, The White Album, and Offramp. I had to check in to make sure this wasn't Jaco.

Manhard Eicher, wasn't it? I think Pat Metheny originally recorded for them. They put out great quality stuff.

Whatchu Talkin' 'bout Willis! I have a couple of Flim & the BB's CD's. Good stuff. If you want to show off your system especially, with it's punchy drums and bass. Back when DDD CD's were popular, seemed that everybody felt compelled to make maximum use of their dynamic range, and it lent itself to some great "demo CDs". Maybe I'll upload some Flim! -mark
