Another one of those songs I have and have no idea where it came from.  Half of my library is that way. Lots of songs find me and for the life of me I have them but have never heard of the song or the artist half the time.{#Lol}

This rendition makes for a fairly non-objectionable song... But Bruce's simply whips this version like there's a woodshed involved.

I just saw them perform in Woodstock. Not overly impressed. They were a good backup for Phoebe Snow and Donald Fagan that night though.

I agree! Bruce's version (which is in the RP library also -- YES!!! ) of Blind Willie's song is much more engaging. This is a 5, Bruce's is a 10.

This sounds good. But I saw them in 2004 as part of some big bluegrass extravaganza, and the folks I was with agreed -- not overwhelming live.

Try the original (relatively speaking) by Blind Willie Johnson - Cockburn is good, but not quite Willie. And Ollabelle is alright, just a little overproduced.
