I moved back to the states after living in the southern coast of Spain during my teenage years Someone turned me on to theSundays (and Fugazi) and this was the platform used to overcome the culture shock I endured in my 20's   Love Davids ease with the simple guitar and Harriett always felt like she was speaking to me... Great memories  Thanks RP

I like this album when I bought it years ago, but it has a strange Thorazine affect.
listen to the complete album and about 5 - 6 songs in you feel sleepy.

This sounds an awful lot like the Cocteau Twins, both the fuzzy ethereal instrumentals and dream-like vocals, but I figured it couldn't have been the Cocteaus because the lyrics were comprehensible. 6 from the intrigued Nottingham jury.

I'd vote for 12/8, personally. But of course, it doesn't matter. It's a lovely song. I wish the Sundays had done more stuff before or after Harriet Wheeler retired to devote herself to family.

Looks as though Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin settled down to raise kids after 97's Static and Silence release. I can't believe they haven't written anything new in all these years. They were the soundtrack to a couple of my broken hearts in college. So, Harriet and David, wherever you are, thanks for helping me through some late-adolescent angst.

With this song, I suddenly heard the connection between The Sundays and the shoegaze, ethereal movement, like Cocteau Twins, which is maybe my favorite group... I knew very little about The Sundays, I guess I have to check them out... {#Tongue}
