Awful cover. But, the sad part is how badly this introduces a lot of people to Buckwheat Zydeco. Please try something from his ZYDECO works. Not this pitiful commercial "look what we found" stuff". And this is the only Buckwheat that has been played here. Shame. He was (is) the real thing and does much, much better.

lighten up. Performers are not always at the top of their game, and songs don't always have to have deep meaning or solve the worlds problems. This make me tap my toes and smile, what more do you need? Edit: it also seems to get bumped up a point every time I hear it.

yeah, but does that merit TWO versions of this pleasant, but, let's face it, marginal ditty? buckwheat zydeco could instead cover "a day in the life" or bach's "bouree" or ANYTHING, SOMETHING, that's at least slightly challenging. the stones' version was quite adequate, thank you. let's move on here.

I always liked Buckwheat Zydeco until they came to sing at our "Cajun Food Fest" at the Wichita River Festival last year. They were about 45 minutes late getting onstage, and then the concert was VERY disappointing. I had dragged a friend down there telling her how fantastic Buckwheat Zydeco were. And ended up with egg on my face. :oops:
