Where there's gold you'll find a way to justify the loss
Where there's gold you'll find your way
Maybe soon you'll realize with what let comes a cost
Time to pay, time to pay

When there's nothing left to buy, it's only love that gets you high
When you need to have that feeling once again
When there's no place left to roam follow your heart to bring you home
If you've taken all and beating you can take
You can lift your head and

Pray that you will find the strength to keep you going on
Pray that you will help someone to find out what was wrong
Only lies can make it go away

All the things you think of now you know that you were wrong
All the things you have to say
Then by chance you find a message written on your phone
Clear your day, clear your day

Cause when there's nothing left to buy, it's only love that gets you high
When you need to have that feeling once again
When there's no place left to roam follow your heart to bring you home
when you've taken all and beating you can take
Then you can lift your head and

Pray that you will find the strength to keep you hanging on
Pray that you will help someone to find out what was wrong
Only lies can make it go away

Hold up your head young girl
Come meh said hold up your head young girl
Ya know say there's a awful lot of problem in this world
For every man, woman, child and girl
While youz eitha a fight or a lova
If you're a mon ya need to fight that war or soar on ya
Virgin wings.

When there's nothing left to buy, it's only love that gets you high
When u need to have that feeling once again
When there's no place left to roam follow your heart to bring you home
If you've taken all and beating you can take
You can lift your head and pray, pray'

It's not fair to follow up Al Green with Seal, it just brings into stark contrast what made Al Green great. Al Green felt what he was singing, this guy is just mailing it in. Al Green's music had soul, whereas Seal's lacks any originality or feeling. If Al Green is the blueprint for an R&B singer, Seal is the bastard child.

Totally catty. It's funny because it's true. I like the song too.
Usually I HATE Seal, but this isn't too bad. I mean, not great or anything, but I wasn't watching the playlist on mute, waiting for a new song.
Seal: he gives bald, disfigured men with large gaps in their teeth hope
After the groundbreaking beats and grooves of his first album, it's interesting listening to Seal becoming a mainstream R&B crooner. His latest stuff is certainly nice and pretty and sexy, but I miss the energy of his older work.
this song kicks ass. i've always loved how gentle seal's voice is. it's so haunting and beautiful.
I think this sounds NOTHING like Brian Ferry Reminds me of the Silence of the Lambs for some strange reason.
Totally agree...i had to check the playlist!! frednic wrote:

I don't like Seal's music too much, but this one is quite impressive.

Crack will do that.

i agree with those who said that he has done better.
It does sound familiar, but I dig it.
nice addition to a pretty solid body of work, not his best
I love this song and feel that it's one of the best on the CD!! It's got a relaxing reggae feel, his awesome vocals stretch into new territory, and its overall dreamy quality does a LOT for me! Come on, I know there's more people out there that like it!
Yeah this is not his best work. Shame really... zzzzzZZZZZ
blah
Time for the Review Channel! This was repetitive music the first time. The second time around it's really, really, really, really, really, really, really, repetitive.
ehh, this don't impress me much
oooh, he's done way better....
