I like this a lot (a little Steve Earle?)
Come on people....this is worth more than an average of 5.9. Love this song!!!
(mistake)
He has a Dylanesque growl in his voice.

Although I live in Holland I've never heard about Philip Kroonenberg before.
He is Yvonne Kroonenbergs sister, she's a well-known author in Holland as well, famous for her books about men. They also do performances together. Her books have titles such as Alles went behalve een vent (You can get used to anything except to a guy), Het zit op de bank en het zapt (It's sitting on the couch and it's flipping channels), Kan ik hem nog ruilen? (Can I return him?), Zij houdt van hem. Hij ook. (She loves him. So does he.) ;)

Philip Kroonenberg is selling just enough records to break even and he's not willing to make compromises to the commercial taste of people. Beside being a musician he's working as a psychotherapist, helping people (often fellow artists) who are dealing with alcohol and/or drugs related problems, like he once did himself. When you want to buy (one or more of) his records, it's probably only possible by ordering them, because they're released in very limited editions.
Just missed this song, but I heard Bill talking about it afterwards. Although I live in Holland I've never heard about Philip Kroonenberg before. Checked out his website, sounds quite interesting. Funny to learn about him on RP (-: Anyway; Johray63 thanks for uploading this song and Bill for adding it to the playlist.
because of the below comments and the fact this was good to my ears,it's a 10...any questions?
Paradise on Paradise! \:D/

Reminds me of Thomas Mapfumo. It's the voice and the instrumentation. I like it though.
